XXXXX XX Occupational Disability Allowance. When an employee covered by the LEOFF II Retirement System is disabled as the proximate result of an on-the-job injury as covered by Washington State Worker's Compensation and Industrial Insurance, the City shall compensate the employee for the difference between his or her Worker's Compensation entitlement and his or her regular salary for a period not to exceed six (6) months or the termination of the disability, whichever comes first. To accomplish this, the City shall pay the employee his or her regular salary for said period and the employee shall receipt to the City all time loss payments received from Worker's Compensation.
