Xxxxxxxxx Committee. A grievance committee shall be selected by September 15 each year to assist members of the licensed teaching staff in filing a grievance. The committee shall be selected at an all-school faculty meeting and shall consist of three teachers, one selected by the elementary faculty, one selected by the junior- senior high faculty, and one member chosen at-large. Their names shall be submitted in writing to the district office on or before September 20. ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………... Level l. A grievant or the grievant representative shall take up a grievance with the building administrative supervisor in a private informal conference within ten (10) school days after the occurrence of the event upon which a grievance is based or after the grievant becomes aware of such event. If the employee is dissatisfied with the outcome of the initial private conference, a formal conference with the building administrative supervisor may be requested in writing in which every effort is made to develop an understanding of the facts and the issues in order to create a climate which will lead to a solution. The formal conference shall occur within five (5) school days of the informal conference.
Xxxxxxxxx Committee. Upon selection and certification of a grievance representative by the Association, the Board shall recognize a Grievance Committee. At least one (1) Association representative shall be given reasonable notice and shall have the right to be present and state the Association's view at any meeting, hearing, appeal, or other proceeding relating to a grievance which has been formally presented. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as limiting the right of any teacher having a grievance to discuss the matter informally with his/her supervisor, provided the Association has been given the opportunity to be present at such adjustments, and provided the adjustment is not inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement.
Xxxxxxxxx Committee. The committee shall investigate and present grievances to the Employer at a mutually convenient time. If so urgent, preparation time can be used for the meeting if it cannot be done during off-hours.
Xxxxxxxxx Committee. Employees selected by the Association to act as Association representatives shall be known as Stewards. The names of the Stewards and the names of any other Association member who may represent employees of the Department shall be certified in writing to the Town by The Maine Association of Police and the individuals so certified shall constitute the Association Grievance Committee.
Xxxxxxxxx Committee. As provided for Article there shall be a Grievance Committee composed of no more than three (3) nurses, including full-time and part-time nurses.
Xxxxxxxxx Committee. 1. The City will give release time with pay to the members of the Association Grievance Committee after they first report to their respective companies and commanding officers. The release time shall only be given to the members of the committee for the purpose of meeting with the Chief of the Fire Division, the Fire Director, or any other representative of the City for the purpose of adjusting grievances and disputes between the Association and the City. The release time provided for in this section shall not interfere with the emergency requirements of the Fire Department.
Xxxxxxxxx Committee. A committee created and constituted by the Xxxxxx Teachers’ Association.
Xxxxxxxxx Committee. The Association may elect or select two (2) Nurse Representatives. Committee The Hospital recognizes a Committee of three (3) nurse employees who shall act as a Negotiating Committee. Hospital-AssociationCommittee The Committee shall be composed of three (3) nurses to act on behalf of the Local Association and three (3) representatives of the Hospital. Nurse Representative The Hospital will recognize one (1) Nurse Representative or an alternate. The Association is to provide to the Hospital the name of this representative on an annual basis.
Xxxxxxxxx Committee. The Grievance Committee shall be convened by the Committee Chairman whenever the need arises. Membership of the Committee shall include, at a minimum, the following: Χ One City Council Member or alternate appointed annually by the City Council - Chairman Χ One Department Head or alternate appointed annually by the City Manager - (not concerned with the appeal) Χ One Employee or alternate appointed by the employee's bargaining unit on an annual basis - (not concerned with the appeal). A grievance hearing before the Grievance Committee shall be an administrative hearing wherein the rules of evidence and court procedure need not be followed. The Chairman is responsible for the disclosure and evaluation of all factors relevant to the inquiry without prejudice to either party in the dispute. Generally, a court reporter will not be used, but if either side demands a transcript of the proceedings, the side so demanding shall bear the full expense of the court reporter and the transcript preparation. Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from making a tape recording of the proceedings. Within five (5) business days following the close of the grievance hearing before the Grievance Committee, the Chairman shall submit the Committee's written decision to the City Manager. The written decision shall be approved by at lease two members of the Committee and shall be signed by all of the members. At a minimum this decision shall include a summary of the proceedings, a brief statement of the facts presented by each side, and a conclusive decision which shall be binding upon the City and the employee.
Xxxxxxxxx Committee. There shall be four (4) Members of the PBA Grievance Committee, Members as defined by this Section, no more than three (3) of whom shall be granted leave from duty without loss of pay for all meetings between the Township and the PBA Local for the purpose of processing grievances. When such meetings take place at a time during which such Members are scheduled to be on duty, leave shall be granted only upon twenty-four (24) hours prior notice to the Chief of Police, provided the conduct of said business shall not diminish the effectiveness of the Police Department or require the recall of off-duty Policemen to bring the Department to its proper effectiveness as determined by the Chief of Police or his designee.
