Dated this of For the Union For the Hospital Article NEW Where a new classification in the bargaining unit is established by the Hospital, the Hospital shall determine the rate of pay for the new classification and notify the Union of the rate so determined. The Union has the right, if it disputes the rate, to request a meeting with the Hospital to attempt to negotiate a mutually satisfactory t rate. The Union shall exercise this right within seven (7) days of receiving notice of the rate determined by the Hospital. If the meeting with the Hospital results in a change in the rate of pay, such change shall be retroactive to the date on which the new classification was first filled by an employee in the bargaining unit. If the meeting does not result in a change in the rate of pay, the Union shall have the right to submit the dispute over the rate of pay to arbitration in accordance with the provisions of Article herein within fourteen (14) days of the Hospital's response. The decision of the board of arbitration (or arbitrator) shall be retroactive to the date the new classification was first filled by an employee in the bargaining unit.

Related to Article Local Provisions

  • Additional Provisions shall have the meaning set forth in Section 15.01.

  • Supplemental Provisions means these Supplemental Provisions for Federally Funded Contracts, Grants, and Purchase Orders subject to the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006, As Amended, as may be revised pursuant to ongoing guidance from the relevant Federal or State of Colorado agency or institution of higher education.
