Base Hourly Rate definition

Base Hourly Rate as to an Hourly Employee means with respect to a Maternity, Adoption or Parental Allowance benefit, the Employee's straight-time hourly rate plus the amount of cost-of-living allowance in effect on the Employee's last day of work.
Base Hourly Rate. The hourly rate corresponding to the salary step in the salary scale to which the employee is assigned. Bi-Weekly Pay Period: Fourteen (14) consecutive calendar days which begins on a Tuesday and ends with the second Monday thereafter.
Base Hourly Rate is the individual employee’s base annual compensation (without annual vehicle allowance, if any, which shall be included in the Construction Manager’s Fee) divided by 2,080 (hours/year).”

More Definitions of Base Hourly Rate

Base Hourly Rate means the rate of pay set out in clause 13.1.
Base Hourly Rate means the applicable Base Hourly Wage Rate as set out in subclause 13.1 (a), and applicable All Purpose Allowances as set out in subclause 13.2 (a).
Base Hourly Rate is the individual employee’s base annual compensation plus applicable annual vehicle allowance divided by 2,080 (hours/year). To the Base Hourly Rate will be added the “Permitted Fringe Benefit Rate”, which includes and is limited to social security taxes, unemployment taxes, health and welfare, retirement and workers compensation. The employee’s Base Hourly Rate shall be supported by such documentation as may be requested by the Owner, such as W-2 forms and the like. The foregoing Rates will be based on actual costs for the employee or, where customary and appropriate, standard costs, consistently applied, that are derived from reasonable apportionment or projection of actual costs. Bonus and other forms of Supplemental Compensation, if paid to employees, shall not be included in the Base Hourly Rate, but are already included in the Construction Manager’s Fee, and the Construction Manager shall disclose the amount of any such bonus or supplemental compensation for each Qualifying Employee.
Base Hourly Rate means the hourly step rate plus any extra pays that are added to their base pay rate for all hours.
Base Hourly Rate means: (a) the highest straight-time hourly rate paid the Employee while in the Bargaining Unit during the Pay Period in which the Short Workweek occurs; (b) the Base Hourly Rate as determined under (a) above, shall be adjusted to include: (i) the amount of any applicable cost-of-living allowance in effect with respect to the Week for which the Automatic Short Week Benefit is paid; and (ii) the amount of any wage increase which became effective (pursuant to the Collective Agreement) after the day or period used to establish his/her Base Hourly Rate. In such event the amount of any wage increase shall be the amount applicable to the job classification in which the Employee worked either on the day, or the last day of the period, whichever is applicable, for which his/her Base Hourly Rate was determined under (a) above. The Base Hourly Rate adjustment due to the increase shall be effective with respect to Automatic Short Week Benefits which may be payable for and subsequent to the Week in which such increase became or becomes effective;

Base Hourly Rate means the straight-time hourly rate, including cost-of-living allowance, but excluding all other premiums and bonuses of any kind, of an Employee on his/her last day at Work in the Bargaining Unit prior to layoff, except that if he/she was paid at a higher straight- time hourly rate in one (1) or more Bargaining Units at any time during the thirteen (13) consecutive Weeks ending with the Week which includes his/her last day Worked, Base Hourly Rate shall be such higher rate.
