Casual Person definition

Casual Person means a Person replacing a Permanent, Probationary or Temporary Member who is absent for a period of less than ten (10) consecutive school days. A Casual Person shall be paid at the minimum of Category A and shall not be entitled to Benefits, Sick Leave or Special Leave.
Casual Person means any person hired to work fewer than forty percent (40%) of the working hours per week of the applicable normal work week as defined in Article 21: Hours of Work and/or not more than twelve (12) weeks.
