Casual Person definition

Casual Person means a Person replacing a Permanent, Probationary or Temporary Member who is absent for a period of less than ten (10) consecutive school days. A Casual Person shall be paid at the minimum of Category A and shall not be entitled to Benefits, Sick Leave or Special Leave.
Casual Person means any person hired to work fewer than forty percent (40%) of the working hours per week of the applicable normal work week as defined in Article 21: Hours of Work and/or not more than twelve (12) weeks.

Notwithstanding Clause those Members who work on a part-time basis for the Board and those Members who are on lay-off shall be paid their appropriate grid salary when performing casual employment for the Board and shall be fully represented by the Union.

Casual Person means any person hired to instruct nine (9) or fewer instructional contact hours per week for non-core programs or six (6) or fewer instructional contact hours per week for core programs and/or four (4) or fewer consecutive weeks annually. Casual persons are not covered by the terms of this Collective Agreement.

  • Key Managerial Person means person as defined in Section 2(51) of the Companies Act, 2013
