Compressed Work Schedule definition

Compressed Work Schedule means a work schedule in which a full-time employee is assigned to work a total of 80 regularly scheduled work hours in nine or less days in a given two-week (i.e., two work week) period.
Compressed Work Schedule. (CWS) means, in the case of a full time employee, an 80 hour biweekly basic work requirement that is scheduled for less than 10 workdays, and in the case of a part-time employee, a biweekly basic work requirement of less than 80 hours that is scheduled for less than 10 workdays and that may require the employee to work more than eight hours in a day. a. “5-4-9” is a work schedule that includes eight workdays of nine hours each plus one workday of eight hours within the biweekly pay period. b. “4-10” is a work schedule that includes eight workdays of ten hours in each biweekly pay period. c. “6-12-8” is an eighty hour bi-weekly basic work schedule that includes six twelve hour workdays and one eight hour workday.
Compressed Work Schedule means a work schedule which reduces the number of days an employee is required to travel to a worksite. Examples of a compressed work schedule include but are not limited to: 4 10−hour work days per week; 3 12−hour work days per week; and 8 9−hour work days plus one 8−hour work day in a 2 week period.

Compressed Work Schedule consists of four (4) consecutive ten (10) hour work days.
