Curtailed Energy means an estimate of possible PV System production during periods that the PV System output is restricted due to a Curtailment Event. For compensable curtailment periods, Compensable Curtailed Energy will be estimated as the average of the PV System Output (kW) at the
Curtailed Energy means the amount of energy expressed in MWh that the Facility would have produced and delivered to the Delivery Point, but that is not produced by the Facility and delivered to the Delivery Point during a Curtailment Period, which amount shall be equal to the result of the equation provided by Seller to reasonably calculate the potential generation of the Facility as a function of Available Capacity, weather and other pertinent data for the period of time during the Curtailment Period less the amount of Facility Energy during the Curtailment Period; provided that, if the Facility Energy is greater than the calculation of potential generation, then the Curtailed Energy shall be zero (0).
Examples of Curtailed Energy in a sentence
Pursuant to the Price Schedule shown in Appendix B, PSE will pay Seller the applicable price per kWh of Delivered Energy (and any Excused Curtailed Energy) for each month during the Delivery Period after Seller obtains Commercial Operation Authorization (such applicable price, the “Contract Price” and such monthly amount as calculated in accordance with the foregoing, the “Monthly Payment”) as full compensation for the Facility’s Solar Output, including Delivered Energy and Environmental Attributes.

Curtailed Energy means Energy for which Seller submitted a Self-Schedule and/or an Energy Supply Bid (each as defined in the CASIO tariff) in its final CAISO market participation in respect of a given time period that clears, in full, the applicable CAISO market for the full amount of energy forecasted to be produced from the Project for such time period but which is curtailed due to a Curtailment Order.
Curtailed Energy means an estimate of possible PV System production during periods that the PV System output is restricted due to a Curtailment Event. For compensable curtailment periods, Compensable Curtailed Energy will be estimated as the average of the PV System Output (kW) at the Sheet No. 49.4-C Effective July 11, 2018 start of a Curtailment Event and the PV System Output (kW) at the end of a Curtailment Event multiplied by the duration (in hours) of the Curtailment Event (in kilowatt hours); provided further, however, that if Company reasonably concludes that the foregoing calculations are unlikely to be representative of the Curtailed Energy for the duration of the Curtailment Event, the Curtailed Energy shall be the Curtailed Energy for such event as demonstrated by Subscriber Organization to Company's reasonable satisfaction.
