Executive Service definition

Executive Service means that part of a Participant’s Service rendered while he was an Executive; provided, however, that in the case of a Principal Officer Participant, Executive Service shall include only that part of a Participant’s Service rendered while he was a Principal Officer. In the case of a Participant who is not an Executive or a Principal Officer, Executive Service shall include all periods of participation pursuant to designation by the Board Committee.

More Definitions of Executive Service

Executive Service means a position in the executive branch that is the chief administrator of a principal unit or comparable position that is not the result of an election or required by the State Constitution; or a deputy or assistant secretary of the principal unit or similar position that has similar stature.
