Hours’ notice definition

Hours’ notice means business office hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. "Short term" absence in this Article shall mean three (3) days or less. "Long term" absence in this Article shall mean four (4) days but less than thirty (30). Every employee shall be required to obtain a doctor's certificate upon return to work for an illness which is of three (3) days or more duration. The Employer may require a doctor's certificate on the first day of illness if the employee involved is believed to have abused a leave of absence due to illness. "Extended" absence in this Article shall mean thirty (30) days or more. Employees who are on an extended sick leave or workplace injury leave shall keep the Employer informed of their progress and make the probable date of return. The employee shall make a reasonable effort to make contact at least once a month.
Hours’ notice means business hours (1 business day or 2 business days; Monday through Friday). “Short term” absence in this Article shall mean three (3) days or less.

Examples of Hours’ notice in a sentence

  • Landlord shall provide Tenant with at least 24 Hours’ notice of his intent to enter said premises.

  • Ayda will use reasonable endeavours to give the Customer at least 3 Normal Business Hours’ notice in advance of any unscheduled maintenance.

  • In the event that the Customer requests the Supplier to remove any Customer Data the Customer shall provide the Supplier with at least ten (10) Working Hours’ notice, in writing, backed up by a telephone call.

  • Cybsafe shall use commercially reasonable endeavours to make the Services available 97% of the time during the Core Hours, except for unscheduled maintenance performed during the Core Hours, provided that Cybsafe has used reasonable endeavours to give the Customer at least 3 Core Hours’ notice in advance.

  • The Service Providers will endeavour to carry out Emergency Maintenance outside Working Hours and will endeavour to give the Client at least 2 Working Hours’ notice in advance of the same, but the Client acknowledges that, depending on the circumstances, the Service Providers may not be able to give that or any notice of Emergency Maintenance.

  • If any Unit of the Facility reduces its electrical output or Seller communicates a decrease in Available Capacity to Purchaser without providing at least 6 Hours’ notice, that reduction or outage shall, in either case, be a Forced Outage for the purposes of this Agreement.

  • In the event that the Client requests Healthdaq to remove any Personal Data the Client shall provide Healthdaq with at least sixteen (16) Working Hours’ notice, in writing, backed up by a telephone call.

  • The full Exercise Class Fee will become payable before another class can be booked where 10 Hours’ notice has not been received of non-attendance of a class.

Related to Hours’ notice

  • Offeror’s Notice means the notice described in Section 11.3.

  • Sales Notice shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 2(b)(i).

  • FOIA Notice means a decision notice, enforcement notice and/or an information notice;

  • CAFA Notice refers to the notice requirements imposed by 28 U.S.C. § 1715(b).

  • PAGA Notice means Plaintiff’s letter to Defendant and the LWDA providing notice pursuant to Labor Code section 2699.3, subd.(a).
