Maximum Benefits definition

Maximum Benefits means the total benefits which may accrue to a Member and his Dependants in terms of these Rules for the financial year;
Maximum Benefits means the maximum benefit amount of each of the benefits covered under this Policy as stated in the Schedule of Benefits.
Maximum Benefits means the maximum benefits allowed under this Policy as set out in the Policy Schedule.

Examples of Maximum Benefits in a sentence

  • Provided that treatment by a qualified, licensed Physician begins within 60 days from the date of Injury, benefits will be paid for Covered Medical Expenses incurred within 52 weeks from the date of Injury up to the Maximum Benefit per service as shown below.SCHEDULE OF BENEFITS: Maximum Benefits Paid As Specified Below.

  • If the insured damages or breaks their artificial limb, artificial eye and/or hearing aid due to an accident, we cover up to the amount stated in the Schedule of Maximum Benefits to fix or replace it.

  • If the insured is injured due to an accident, and a legally qualified chiropractor, osteopath, physiotherapist, athletic therapist or registered nurse begins treating the insured’s injury within 30 days, we pay up to a maximum of $100 per visit up to the amount stated in the Schedule of Maximum Benefits for all providers.

  • We cover up to the amount stated in the Schedule of Maximum Benefits, including $150 a day hotel and meals if the training is located more than 160 km from where the insured lives.

  • If the insured is injured due to an accident and a physician recommends special protective clothing, we cover the cost up to the amount stated in the Schedule of Maximum Benefits.

  • If the insured dies, loses a limb or the use of a limb, loses their sight, hearing or speech or are diagnosed with a Critical Illness and the insured’s physician recommends counselling for the insured, the insured’s parents, legal guardian and/or siblings, we cover up to the amount stated in the Schedule of Maximum Benefits for the services of a licensed psychologist.

  • If the insured is a patient in a hospital due to an accident and the attending physician recommends that the insured’s parent or legal guardian be with the insured, we cover the expense for them to travel on a common carrier up to the amount stated in the Schedule of Maximum Benefits.

  • If the insured is injured due to an accident and requires crutches, splints, an orthotic truss, a brace, prescription drugs, any type of cast or the rental of a wheelchair or hospital-type bed due to the accident, we cover up to the amount stated in the Schedule of Maximum Benefits.

  • If the insured is injured due to an accident and a physician prescribes an artificial limb, artificial eye and/or hearing aid, we cover the purchase of the device within 3 years after the accident, up to the amount stated in the Schedule of Maximum Benefits.

  • If the insured is injured due to an accident and within one (1) year needs specialized treatment that is located more than 160 km from where the insured lives, we cover their travel expenses up to the amount stated in the Schedule of Maximum Benefits.


More Definitions of Maximum Benefits

Maximum Benefits means a maximum of Four Hundred Seventy-Nine Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-Four dollars ($479,364.00) that Defendants may become obligated to pay by operation of the Settlement Agreement if the settlement gains Final Approval, in the form of Gift Certificates, as defined in Section 2.35, to all Class Members who make a valid claim. Separate and apart from the class settlement fund Defendants shall pay the following amounts: (1) All Settlement Administration Costs, including notice, estimated in the amount of $35,000; (2) Attorneys’ fees to Class Counsel in an amount to be determined by the Court but not to exceed $119,841.00; (3) An incentive/service award to Class Representative in an amount to be determined by the Court but not to exceed $5,000.00; and (4) Litigation costs incurred by Class Counsel, and approved by the Court, not to exceed $12,500.00. The amount of $50,000.00 will be placed into an Interest Bearing Escrow Account (the “Account”) within ten (10) days of the Court granting preliminary approval. The monies deposited by Defendants into the Account shall be regarded as security for the amounts identified above, and do not represent separate or additional costs to be paid by either Defendant. Any interest on the account will revert to Defendants.
Maximum Benefits means the employment benefits which are highest of: (i)the voluntary retirement scheme as provided by the Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Government of India, under the Office Memorandum “Consolidated Guidelines
Maximum Benefits means the maximum disability benefits under Covered Policies in force at the Effective Date or issued during the Term (inclusive of any future increases in benefits permitted under the terms of any Covered Policy), as set forth in Appendix A hereto.
