Overtime-Eligible Employees Rest Periods Clause Samples
The "Overtime-Eligible Employees Rest Periods" clause defines the rules and entitlements regarding rest breaks for employees who are eligible to receive overtime pay. Typically, this clause outlines the frequency and duration of rest periods that must be provided during work shifts, such as a 10-minute break every four hours worked, and clarifies whether these breaks are paid or unpaid. Its core function is to ensure compliance with labor laws and promote employee well-being by mandating adequate rest, thereby reducing fatigue and potential workplace accidents.
