Sessional Employee definition

Sessional Employee means an employee who is either full-time or part-time and works in a position with a minimum term of 6 months each calendar year, with annually scheduled start and end dates.

More Definitions of Sessional Employee

Sessional Employee means an employee of the University who as part of normal employment may be temporarily laid off between semesters and who may be laid off for periods of up to twenty-two (22) continuous weeks or less.
Sessional Employee means an employee who, as part of his/her normal employment, may be on layoff status when classes are not in session.
Sessional Employee means an Employee hired for an indefinite term who works on a scheduled basis for less than twelve (12) months per year (normally for the Fall and Winter semesters).
