Special Compensatory Leave. (A) Special Compensatory Leave is defined as leave that is earned as a result of hours worked on a holiday, extra hours worked during an established work week which contains a holiday, or extra hours worked when a facility is closed under emergency conditions as provided in Rule 60L-34, F.A.C.
Special Compensatory Leave. (A) Special Compensatory Leave is defined as leave that is earned as provided in Rule 60L-34, Florida Administrative Code, for hours worked on a holiday, extra hours worked during an established work week which contains a holiday, or extra hours worked when the employee’s assigned office, facility, or region is closed pursuant to an Executive Order of the Governor or any other disaster or emergency condition.
Special Compensatory Leave. A. An employee may accumulate up to 240 hours of special compensatory leave except that unused special compensatory leave may be paid for by the University at any time.

(B) General Provisions for Using Special Compensatory Leave Credits in accordance with Rule 60L-34.0044, F.A.C.
Special Compensatory Leave. A. An employee may accumulate up to two hundred and forty hours of special compensatory leave. The University may pay for a specified amount of unused special compensatory leave at any time when the employee’s balance is over 240 hours. The amount of payment to the employee will only bring the employee’s balance back to 240 hours. If the University decides to pay for a specified amount of unused special compensatory leave, the employee cannot request to keep the special compensatory leave instead of being paid. The University will provide fourteen days’ notice when paying for the special compensatory leave as specified in this paragraph.

  • Overtime and Compensatory Time Because of the unique nature of the duties and emergency response obligations of the Division, management reserves the right to assign employees to work overtime as needed.

  • Compensatory Time Off a. An employee in the bargaining unit shall have the option to elect to take compensatory time off in lieu of cash compensation for overtime work.   • Shift Differential Compensation Any employee in the bargaining unit whose assigned work shift commences (for unit-1) prior to 5:30 a.m. or whose work shift ends after 5:30 p.m., or (for unit-2 members) commences after 2:00 p.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of five (5%) percent above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.

  • SICK LEAVE WITH PAY LIMITATION 233. An employee who is absent because of disability leave and who is receiving disability indemnity payments may request that the amount of disability indemnity payment be supplemented with salary to be charged against the employee's sick leave with pay credits so as to equal the net amount the employee would have earned for a regular work schedule minus premium pay adjustments. If the employee wishes to exercise this option, the employee must submit a signed statement to the employee's department no later than thirty (30) days following the employee's release from disability leave.
