Theory. The theory portion of Carepaks program is 94 hours total. The student must pass the theory portion with a score of 80% or above to satisfy the requirements of IDPH and the program. - Lab: Successful completion of certain lab skills are necessary prior to performing on the clinical floor. - Clinical: A minimum of 40 hours are required by IDPH to satisfy this portion of the program.
