00 -- OBJECTS. 1.01 The objects of this Agreement are to stabilize the food service and catering industry; provide fair and reasonable working conditions and job security for Employees; prevent strikes and lockouts; record the terms of Agreement as to conditions of employment, hours of work and rates of pay and generally to assure the highest quality of production obtainable by the most economical and efficient conduct of the Employer's operations, the cleanliness and protection of the Employer's property, reasonable provisions for the safety and health of Employees and the prompt and fair disposition of disputes arising out of this Agreement.

00 -- OBJECTS. 1.01 This Agreement shall be in full force and effect from the 27th day of August 2001 up to and including the 30th day of April, 2003, and thereafter it shall be renewed from year to year unless notice for change or termination is given as set forth below.

  • Falling Objects This peril does not include loss to the inside of a building or property contained in the building un- less the roof or an outside wall of the building is first damaged by a falling object. Damage to the falling object itself is not included.

  • Notice of Objection Contractor may object to any action taken by NYSERDA pursuant to this Exhibit that prevents the commencement of the time in which interest will be paid by submitting a written notice of objection to NYSERDA. Such notice shall be signed and dated and concisely and clearly set forth the basis for the objection and be addressed to the Vice President, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, at the notice address set forth in Exhibit B to this Agreement. The Vice President of NYSERDA, or his or her designee, shall review the objection for purposes of affirming or modifying NYSERDA‘s action. Within fifteen (15) working days of the receipt of the objection, the Vice President, or his or her designee, shall notify the Contractor either that NYSERDA‘s action is affirmed or that it is modified or that, due to the complexity of the issue, additional time is needed to conduct the review; provided, however, in no event shall the extended review period exceed thirty (30) working days.

  • Technical Objections No grievance shall be defeated merely because of a technical error, other than time limitations in the processing of the grievance through the grievance procedure. To this end, an arbitrator shall have the power to waive formal procedural irregularities in the processing of the grievance in order to determine the real matter in dispute.

  • Right to Object Any Person who has not requested exclusion from the Settlement Class and who objects to the settlement may appear in person or through counsel, at that Person’s own expense, at the Fairness Hearing to present any evidence or argument that the Court deems proper and relevant. However, no such Person shall be heard, and no papers, briefs, pleadings, or other Documents submitted by any such Person shall be received and considered by the Court, unless such Person properly submits a written objection that includes: (a) a notice of intention to appear; (b) proof of membership in the Settlement Class; and (c) the specific grounds for the objection and any reasons why such Person desires to appear and be heard, as well as all Documents or writings that such Person desires the Court to consider. Such a written objection must be both filed with the Court no later than thirty (30) days prior to the date set for the Fairness Hearing and mailed to Settlement Class Counsel and Settling Defendants’ Counsel at the addresses provided in the Class Notice and postmarked (or mailed by overnight delivery) no later than thirty (30) days prior to the date of the Fairness Hearing. Any Person who fails to object in the manner prescribed herein shall be deemed to have waived its objections and will forever be barred from making any such objections in the Actions or in any other action or proceeding, unless otherwise excused for good cause shown as determined by the Court.
