Accident Medical Reimbursement. If an Insured Person suffers an injury due to an Accident during the Period of Insurance and the Operative Time as shown on the Policy Schedule the Company will reimburse the Insured Person for any Medical Expenses reasonably and necessarily incurred as a direct result of the injury, within 12 months from the date of Accident up to the Sum Insured shown on the Policy Schedule. It does not include costs incurred paid to a Chinese Physician or chiropractor or podiatrist. If an Insured Person is entitled to a refund of all or part of such expenses from any other source, the Company will only pay the amount of expenses incurred over and above the refunded amount up to the Sum Insured shown in the Policy Schedule. This section is extended to cover food poisoning.   • Transportation Reimbursement Employees who, during the course of their normal duties, are required to actually transport clients/consumers/felons in their own personal vehicle on a regular basis, are eligible for reimbursement for the cost of an automobile rider to their existing insurance policy. To be eligible for the reimbursement, the employee must demonstrate the following:

  • Meal Reimbursement 1. If an employee is required to work one and one-half (1-1/2) hours before or beyond his/her normal working day or on overtime for emergency purposes or for extended work periods of five (5) or more hours in length on a day that is not the employee’s regular work day, and the employee is not exercising flexible work hours, the employee shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of a meal/food items not to exceed $18.00, plus tip (not to exceed 15%) and applicable taxes.   • Education Reimbursement The County will provide education reimbursement for education costs incurred by regular employees who apply for such reimbursement in accordance with the policies and procedures governing the education reimbursement program. The maximum reimbursement shall be $1,500 per year.

  • Travel Accident Insurance We agree to provide you with Travel Accident Insurance at no direct cost to you. You, your spouse and unmarried dependent children will be automatically insured against accidental bodily injuries or death while riding in any aircraft or land or water conveyance operated by a common carrier licensed to carry passengers for hire provided the full travel fare(s) has been charged to your Account. Death benefits will be paid to the estate of the insured; all other benefits will be paid to the insured. This insurance is subject to cancellation without prior notice.   • Post-Accident Testing a. The City may require a Covered Employee who caused, or may have caused, an Accident, based on information known at the time of the Accident, to submit to drug and/or alcohol testing.
