Additional Meal Period. Employees working more than ten (10) hours in a day will be given a second thirty (30) minute unpaid meal period. If the employee will not be working more than twelve (12) hours, the second meal period may be waived upon the mutual consent of the Company and the employee only if the first meal period was not waived.

Additional Meal Period. Any employee requested to work overtime beyond the regular eight hour work day shall take a meal period of thirty (30) minutes at the regular pro-rated hourly rate of pay, provided such overtime is in excess of two (2) hours’ work. The meal period may be taken before, during or after the overtime work, as may be mutually agreed by the Employer and the employee. Employees who work overtime may request time off in lieu of overtime pay to be taken at a time mutually agreed upon by the employee and the Employer. The length of time off with pay shall be equal to the overtime earnings, e.g. overtime worked at one hundred fifty percent (150%) of an employee’s regular rate will be taken off in lieu at a rate of one and one half (1.5) hours for each hour so worked.
Additional Meal Period. If the work of the employees is to be continued beyond the 13th hour after the assigned starting time, the employees will be accorded a meal period with pay commencing with the 14th hour. The meal will be paid for and provided by the Carrier. Subsequent meals and meal periods provided by the Carrier, will be allowed at intervals of not more than six (6) hours computed from the end of the last meal period allowed. In the event a meal period is not afforded at the designated time, the employees will be compensated at double their existing rate of pay from that time until such time as they are accorded a meal period; there will, however, be no compounding of the penalty payments provided herein.

  • Meal Period A Contractor shall schedule an unpaid period of not more than 1/2 hour duration at the work location between the 3rd and 5th hour of the scheduled shift. A Contractor may, for efficiency of operation, establish a schedule which coordinates the meal periods of two or more crafts. If an employee is required to work through the meal period, the employee shall be compensated in a manner established in the applicable Schedule A.

  • Transitional Period At the end of the transitional period as defined in Article 10(2) of the Directive, the contracting parties shall cease to apply the withholding/retention tax and revenue sharing provided for in this Agreement and shall apply in respect of the other contracting party the automatic exchange of information provisions in the same manner as is provided for in Chapter II of the Directive. If during the transitional period either of the contracting parties elects to apply the automatic exchange of information provisions in the same manner as is provided for in Chapter II of the Directive it shall no longer apply the withholding/retention tax and the revenue sharing provided for in Article 9 of this Agreement.

  • Listing Period Extension The Commission shall be due if the Property is sold, conveyed, exchanged, optioned, or otherwise transferred within _ _ days (“Extension Period”) after the expiration of the Listing Period to anyone with whom the Broker or Agency has negotiated unless the Property is listed, in good faith, with another real estate agency. The term “negotiation” shall include providing information about the Property, showing the Property, or presenting an offer on the Property. All rights under this Section shall terminate upon the expiration of the Extension Period.

  • Initial Period The Initial Period will begin on the date set forth above and will terminate on the earlier of (i) the Commercial Operation Date, or (ii) the Date the Agreement is terminated pursuant to the provisions of Clause 19.

  • Extension of Concession Period Subject to the provisions of Clause 35.6, in the event that a material default or breach of this Agreement set forth in Clause 35.2 causes delay in achieving COD or leads to suspension of or reduction in collection of Fee, as the case may be, the Authority shall, in addition to payment of compensation under Clause 35.2, extend the Concession Period, such extension being equal in duration to the period by which COD was delayed or the collection of Fee remained suspended on account thereof, as the case may be.

  • Automatic Renewal Limitation for TIPS Sales No TIPS Sale may incorporate an automatic renewal clause that exceeds month to month terms with which the TIPS Member must comply. All renewal terms incorporated into a TIPS Sale Supplemental Agreement shall only be valid and enforceable when Vendor received written confirmation of acceptance of the renewal term from the TIPS Member for the specific renewal term. The purpose of this clause is to avoid a TIPS Member inadvertently renewing an Agreement during a period in which the governing body of the TIPS Member has not properly appropriated and budgeted the funds to satisfy the Agreement renewal. Any TIPS Sale Supplemental Agreement containing an “Automatic Renewal” clause that conflicts with these terms is rendered void and unenforceable.

  • C4 Price adjustment on extension of the Initial Contract Period C4.1 The Contract Price shall apply for the Initial Contract Period. In the event that the Client agrees to extend the Initial Contract Period pursuant to clause F8 (Extension of Initial Contract Period) the Client shall, in the 6 month period prior to the expiry of the Initial Contract Period, enter into good faith negotiations with the Contractor (for a period of not more than 30 Working Days) to agree a variation in the Contract Price.

  • Term/Effective Date This Agreement is effective upon the Effective Date and will expire on the 30th day of June, 2023, unless earlier terminated in accordance with this Agreement.
