Additional outreach work. More than £1 million is already committed to outreach work delivering against our institutional strategy from a range of HEFCE, ESF, Aimhigher and other monies. We plan to invest in the region of an additional £400,000 into a range of innovative schemes from 2006 as part of our commitment to enhancing opportunities and ensuring equity of access to higher education for potential students, particularly within our local communities in the North West. Over the three year period of the agreement we intend to undertake a number of new initiatives designed to deliver against our strategic objectives for widening participation alongside a commitment to evaluate and demonstrate the efficacy of this work in widening access institutionally and regionally.
Additional outreach work. Areas of work which will be supported or extended by the additional tuition fee income include the following:- Liverpool Hope University Compact Scheme The Compact will aim to support students who fulfil the agreed widening participation criteria through the recruitment and selection stages at Key Stage 5 and during their studies at Liverpool Hope University. The principle structure will be a contractual agreement between the university, the Student Fellow, their parent/guardian and their school/college. This aims to establish an educational partnership, with named personnel and departments, who together will provide support for the Student Fellow to assist their transition to Liverpool Hope University. It will also support their progression throughout their degree course, to secure success and enable them to achieve their own personal careers goals and aspirations. Take Aim Take Aim gives students the guidance and information that will enable them to understand that Higher Education is a 'Passport' to a vast range of career choices and that each career choice contains a variety of career development paths. The workshops are designed to be 'hands on' and give a real insight into HE courses and career opportunities in a creative and inspiring way. Hope lecturers deliver the workshops and trained student advocates are used to support and motivate the students, promoting the aims of Aimhigher. Additional half day/full day workshops can be provided for other schools/organisations and will be designed to meet specific needs. Syndicate The syndicate aims to increase the likelihood of widening participation students in Greater Merseyside going on to Higher Education by raising their attainment. With Liverpool Hope as the lead partner and managed in conjunction with Halton Local Education Authority, Syndicate works by pooling the expert work of educators from across Greater Merseyside, who teach in the subject areas of English, Maths, Science, Business, ICT, and Leisure and Tourism. They work together on their specific subject area, creating packages of teaching activities to enhance student's classroom success. Interventions are all curriculum-driven and pinpoint areas including support and development. Programmes include staff development, mentoring, exam revision and presentations from business partners.   • Subprojects 1. The Borrower shall make Grants to Beneficiaries (Small Farmers, Municipalities and Organizations) for Subprojects (Farmers’ Business Initiatives, Infrastructure Subprojects and Environmental Subprojects) in accordance with eligibility criteria and procedures acceptable to the Bank as further detailed in the Project Operational Manual.

  • Construction Development of the Project The Allottee has seen the proposed layout plan/demarcation-cum-zoning/sanctioned plans, / site plan / building plan, specifications, amenities and facilities, etc. depicted in the advertisement / brochure / agreement / website (as the case may be) regarding the Project where the Said Independent Floor for residential usage along with parking is located and has accepted the floor / site plan, Payment Plan and the specifications, amenities, facilities, etc. [annexed along with this Agreement] which has been approved by the competent authority, as represented by the Promoter. The Promoter shall develop the Project in accordance with the bye-laws such as Haryana Building Code, 2017, FAR, density norms, provisions prescribed, approved plans, terms and condition of the license/ allotment as well as registration of RERA, etc. Subject to the terms in this Agreement, the Promoter undertakes to strictly abide by such plans approved by the competent authorities and shall also strictly abide by the provisions and norms prescribed by the relevant State laws and shall not have an option to make any variation/ alteration/ modification in such plans, other than in the manner provided under the Act and Rules made thereunder or as per approvals/instructions/ guidelines of the competent authorities, and any breach of this term by the Promoter shall constitute a material breach of the Agreement.

  • Project Work PURCHASER shall complete the following projects in accordance with the specifications provided in Exhibits B, C, D, E, and F and written instructions from STATE. Project locations are shown on Exhibit A unless otherwise described. PURCHASER shall furnish all material unless otherwise specified.

  • The Performance Improvement Process (a) The Performance Improvement Process will focus on the risks of non- performance and problem-solving. It may include one or more of the following actions:

  • Additional Work If changes in the work seem merited by Consultant or the City, and informal consultations with the other party indicate that a change is warranted, it shall be processed in the following manner: a letter outlining the changes shall be forwarded to the City by Consultant with a statement of estimated changes in fee or time schedule. An amendment to this Agreement shall be prepared by the City and executed by both Parties before performance of such services, or the City will not be required to pay for the changes in the scope of work. Such amendment shall not render ineffective or invalidate unaffected portions of this Agreement.

  • Unsafe Work (a) An employee may exercise their right to refuse to do unsafe work pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations outlined in Information Appendix B.

  • Credit for Project Work In order to compensate PURCHASER for project work that PURCHASER agrees to complete under the section titled, “Project Work,” of this contract, STATE agrees to credit PURCHASER’s timber account in the sum of $46,657 upon completion of and STATE’s acceptance of all work, unless otherwise approved in writing by STATE.   • Site Work An expansion of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Boonville Station is required to accommodate the CTOIFs. The southern corner of the fence line will be expanded out by approximately 3,200 square feet. The Connecting Transmission Owner already owns the property required for the expansion. Approximately 120 feet of the existing fencing will need to be removed and approximately 150 feet of new fencing added.

  • Phase 2 Phase 2 is expected to consist of Member Nodes and a select number of Nodes operated by non-Members. The non-Member Nodes will be required to comply with Node hosting terms as set forth by the Council, which may be amended from time to time (the “General Node Terms”).
