Additional Salary for Educational Accomplishments. For an individual to earn the total allowable educational incentive, the individual must have registered, earned and obtained it through a nationally recognized institution of education that falls into the following agency: 1. United Sates Department of Education xxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/accreditation/ The same language is applicable for those who submit for an incentive that is “commensurate” with the knowledge and abilities of the job position held. The degree must have been obtained through a nationally recognized institution of education. The submittals must include a sealed official transcript from the accrediting college. Each submittal will be reviewed on a case by case basis. A. Employees who possess an approved certification from a Certificate Program that is commensurate with the scope of job classification, including but not limited to the State Fire Marshal Certification Programs shall receive an additional one-half of one percent (.5%) of base pay for programs eighty (80) hours or less. For Certificate Programs, exceeding eighty (80) hours, the employees shall receive one percent (1%) of base pay for each Certificate Program. FF1 and FF2 Certifications are excluded from the State Fire Marshal Certification Incentive. B. Employees who possess a certificate in Fire Science or Fire Technology from a Community College shall receive an additional three percent (3%) of base pay.

Employees who possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university shall receive an additional seven and one- half percent (7.5%) of base pay. All above certificates and degrees, A through F shall not exceed seven and one-half percent (7.5%) of base G. Employees who possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Science shall receive an additional ten percent (10%) of base pay. H. The maximum amount an employee may receive in educational incentives is ten percent (10%) of base pay.

H. The maximum amount an employee may receive in educational incentives is ten percent (10%) of base pay.

  • SALARY DETERMINATION FOR EMPLOYEES IN ADULT EDUCATION 1. The following shall apply to employees providing instruction in adult education programs in these districts: Continuing Education employees in the Adult Education High School Completion Program (credit courses) and Adult Education Academic Upgrading Programs (Adult Basic Education, General Education Development, Pre-General Education Development, Literacy and Adult Education English Language Programs). Employees teaching Adult Education academic programs including: High School Completion Program, Pathfinder High School Completion Program, Academic Business Education Program, General Equivalency Diploma Program, Adult Basic Education Program, Adult English as a Second Language Program, and Adult Special Education Program, in the Continuing Education Division.

  • Developer Compensation for Emergency Services If, during an Emergency State, the Developer provides services at the request or direction of the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer will be compensated for such services in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Compensation for Consulting Services For each quarter (i.e., three-month period) that Executive provides consulting services to MediciNova pursuant to the option of MediciNova contained in Section 9 above, MediciNova shall pay Executive a sum equal to fifteen percent (15%) of Executive’s annual Base Compensation which shall be applicable at the time of Executive’s termination of employment with MediciNova (prorated for any period of less than a quarter). The parties expressly agree that when Executive is performing consulting services for MediciNova, Executive is acting as an independent contractor. Therefore, Executive shall be solely liable for Social Security and income taxes that result from Executive’s compensation as a consultant. In addition, Executive shall not be entitled to any other benefits including, without limitation, such group medical, life and disability insurance and other benefits as may be provided to employees and/or executives of MediciNova.
