Administrative Leave for Training. Absence from an Employee's regular work duties, not to exceed 120 days, may be authorized to allow the Employee to complete advanced training programs providing the work situation permits a temporary absence without serious effect on the Employer's schedule of activities. Employees taking Administrative Leave for training may be required to sign an agreement, before the leave is granted, spelling out the Employee's obligations of repayment of the training costs. Such costs may include, but are not limited to, the fees paid by the Employer for tuition or enrollment, travel and lodging, meal allowances, and other expenses paid or reimbursed; and the Employee will be subject to forfeiture of accumulated leave and salary in an amount sufficient to affect this repayment.

  • Administrative Leave The Superintendent has the authority to place an employee on administrative leave if the Superintendent believes that it is in the best interests of the students, staff, or community. 20.12-1 If an administrative leave extends beyond ten (10) workdays, the employee and the Association will be notified by the Director of Labor and Employee Relations, or his/her designee, the reasons for the extension. 20.12-2 The employee placed on administrative leave will continue to receive full pay. All rules for active employees will continue to apply.

  • Paid Administrative Leave After notifying the Association, an Appointing Authority may place a supervisor on administrative leave for a period not to exceed two (2) weeks. The Commissioner of Minnesota Management & Budget may authorize the leave to be extended for a period not greater than another thirty (30) calendar days.

  • Annual Leave Loading During a period of annual leave an employee will receive a loading of 17.5 per cent calculated on the employee’s normal hourly rate of pay and the daily fares allowance if applicable. The loading will also apply to proportionate leave on lawful termination.

  • UNPAID DISCRETIONARY LEAVE 1. a. An employee shall be entitled to a minimum of three (3) days of unpaid discretionary leave each year.

  • Entitlement to Vacation Leave With Pay An employee is entitled to vacation leave with pay to the extent of his earned credits but an employee who has completed six (6) months of continuous employment may receive an advance of credits equivalent to the anticipated credits for the vacation year.

  • Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits An employee shall earn vacation leave credits for each calendar month during which the employee receives pay for at least ten (10) days at the following rate:

  • Entitlement to Annual Leave For each year of service with the Employer a full-time or part-time Employee is entitled to four (4) weeks of paid annual leave.

  • Uniform Allowance Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of per year in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • In-Service Training The District may require an assigned Therapist, at his/her own expense, to attend training deemed by the District to be necessary for performing professional services.
