Administrative Leave Policy. Compensation in lieu of overtime for the following designated positions shall be in the form of sixty (60) hours of administrative leave per calendar year. On approval of the General Manager with consideration to the needs of the District, this leave may be taken as paid time away from work and/or cashed up to 20 hours per year at the last pay date of each calendar year. Unused time will be paid upon separation. Administrative leave is earned at 2.3077 hours per pay period and may be accumulated up to a maximum of fifteen (15) days. At the discretion of the General Manager, upon successful completion of probation, employees in these designated positions shall be eligible to receive administrative leave.   • Administrative Leave The Superintendent has the authority to place an employee on administrative leave if the Superintendent believes that it is in the best interests of the students, staff, or community.

Employees who are incapacitated for the performance of duties because of serious disability or ailment may request advance sick leave not to exceed two hundred and forty (240) hours. These two hundred and forty (240) hours of sick leave may be advanced to an employee with a medical emergency related to the adoption of a child, for family care or bereavement purposes, or to care for a family member with a serious health condition.

  • Sick Leave Policy It is the policy of the State of Ohio to not unreasonably deny sick leave to employees when requested. It is also the policy of the State to take corrective action for unauthorized use of sick leave and/or abuse of sick leave. It is further the policy of the State that when corrective and/or disciplinary action is taken, it will be applied progressively and consistently. If you request an administrative appeal, you must do so within one hundred eighty (180) days of receiving a denial of payment for covered healthcare services. The Grievance and Appeals Unit will conduct a thorough review of your administrative appeal and respond within: • thirty (30) calendar days for a prospective review; and • sixty (60) calendar days for a retrospective review. The letter will provide you with information regarding our determination.
