AGREEMENTS AND INITIATIVES OUTSIDE THE SCOPE. OF THE CCAA‌ Northwest Forest Plan: The US Forest Service and the USDI Bureau of Land Management (1994) administer forest management practices within the range of the northern spotted owl that protect late- successional forests and xxxxxx the development of late-successional forests to provide habitat for the federally threatened northern spotted owl. This plan is referred to as the Northwest Forest Plan and its provisions apply to the National Forests and BLM Districts in Western Oregon. The large spatial scale and specific goals of the Northwest Forest Plan are expected to provide large portions of the state that are capable of supporting large, self-sustaining xxxxxx populations, once they are reintroduced. BLM has revised the Resource Management Plans for BLM Districts in western Oregon, which supersede the Northwest Forest Plan. The revised plans have more acres in reserve allocations than under the Northwest Forest Plan, while the actual land base designated for timber harvest is two-thirds that of the Northwest Forest Plan. Management activities allowed in areas reserved for late-successional conditions under the revised plans are similar to those under the Northwest Forest Plan (BLM 2016a, b). In general, the revised BLM plans should accommodate xxxxxx conservation similar to the Northwest Forest Plan. National Park Service: The National Park Service manages one large National Park in Oregon that already provide habitat for fishers - Crater Lake National Park.

Rainier National Park, and North Cascades National Park. The National Park Service is the lead Federal agency for two xxxxxx reintroduction efforts in cooperation with WDFW. The Olympic Xxxxxx Reintroduction is complete and the Cascades Reintroduction may begin as soon as December 2015.

  • GEOGRAPHIC SCOPE OF THE AGREEMENT 4.1 The geographic scope of this Agreement is the trade between ports in North Asia, South Asia, Middle East (including the Arabian Gulf and Red Sea Regions), Northern Europe, Mediterranean, Adriatic, and Black Sea, Egypt, Panama, Mexico, Canada, Central America and the Caribbean on the one hand, and ports on the East, Gulf, and West Coasts of the United States, by any route including via the Panama and Suez Canals or the Cape of Good Hope, on the other, as well as ports and points served via such U.S. and foreign ports (the “Trade”). The specific countries/regions that are within the geographic scope of this Agreement are listed in Appendix A hereto. There shall be no geographic restrictions on the origin or destination of cargo carried on vessels employed in the services established pursuant to this Agreement. In other words, such cargo may originate from or be destined for ports or points outside the geographic scope of this Agreement. The inclusion of any non U.S. trades in this Agreement shall not bring such non U.S. trades under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission or entitle the Parties hereto to immunity from the U.S. antitrust laws with respect to such non U.S. trades.

  • Outside Activities Subject to the Articles of Incorporation and any agreements entered into by the General Partner or its Affiliates with the Partnership or a Subsidiary, any officer, director, employee, agent, trustee, Affiliate or stockholder of the General Partner shall be entitled to and may have business interests and engage in business activities in addition to those relating to the Partnership, including business interests and activities substantially similar or identical to those of the Partnership. Neither the Partnership nor any of the Limited Partners shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement in any such business ventures, interest or activities. None of the Limited Partners nor any other Person shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement or the partnership relationship established hereby in any such business ventures, interests or activities, and the General Partner shall have no obligation pursuant to this Agreement to offer any interest in any such business ventures, interests and activities to the Partnership or any Limited Partner, even if such opportunity is of a character which, if presented to the Partnership or any Limited Partner, could be taken by such Person.

  • GEOGRAPHIC AREA AND SECTOR SPECIFIC ALLOWANCES, CONDITIONS AND EXCEPTIONS The following allowances and conditions shall apply where relevant: Where the company does work which falls under the following headings, the company agrees to pay and observe the relevant respective conditions and/or exceptions set out below in each case.
