Alcoholism. Providing an employee meets the required criteria for benefits from the “Bank”, and becomes involved in a recognized alcoholism treatment program as authorized by the Employee and Family Assistance Program Assessment/Treatment Resource, either as an inpatient or outpatient, the employee may be eligible for benefits from the “Bank”. Progress reports shall be received on each claimant, and, should it be found that the claimant is not making the required effort for rehabilitation, then the Sick Bank Committee may, in its discretion, terminate the individual’s benefits from the “Bank”. (Rev. 1990)
Alcoholism. If there is any suspicion that you are an alcoholic, you must have a special medical examination before we will consider granting a licence. If you are diagnosed as an alcoholic, you must be treated, and you must have five years drink-free before we will consider granting a licence.
Alcoholism. The AUTHORITY agrees that alcoholism shall be treated as a sickness and not penalize the employee. The AUTHORITY recognizes alcoholism as a treatable illness when it is defined as an employee's consumption of any alcoholic beverage, which repeatedly interferes with work, attendance and/or personal health. The AUTHORITY agrees to postpone referral of formal charges against an above-defined alcoholic employee unless the employee refuses to seek professional treatment or fails to successfully complete treatment within one year from the date of postponement. This Article shall not be interpreted as effecting the AUTHORITY'S job performance requirements.

  • Alcohol The intoxicating agent in beverage alcohol, ethyl alcohol or other low molecular weight alcohols including methyl and isopropyl alcohol.

  • DRUGS & ALCOHOL Any incidents concerning drugs and/or alcohol shall be dealt with in accordance with the policy of the Building Industry Group Drug and Alcohol Safety and Rehabilitation Program as detailed in Appendix D of this Agreement.

  • Drugs Possession or use of drugs by the Student, any person present in the residence with the Student, or any person present in the Student’s residence with the permission of the Student during the Student’s absence, are strictly prohibited in any UCF DHRL facility.   • Alcohol & Drugs I understand that the possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages or illegal substances is prohibited at all game locations and Activities hosted by the Club. I understand that by not following the rules of the game, or by playing while intoxicated, or if there is any suspicion of intoxication, I will not be allowed to play and will not receive a refund.

  • Alcohol Testing Alcohol testing will be conducted by using an evidential breath testing device (EBT) approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Non-EBT devices may be used for initial screening tests. A screening test will be conducted first. If the result is an alcohol concentration level of less than 0.02, the test is considered a negative test. If the alcohol concentration level is 0.02 or more, a second confirmation test will be conducted. Levels of .04 or greater on the confirmation test will be considered positive.

  • SUBSTANCE ABUSE The dangers and costs that alcohol and other chemical abuses can create in the electrical contracting industry in terms of safety and productivity are significant. The parties to this Agreement resolve to combat chemical abuse in any form and agree that, to be effective, programs to eliminate substance abuse and impairment should contain a strong rehabilitation component. The local parties recognize that the implementation of a drug and alcohol policy and program must be subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Such policies and programs must also be administered in accordance with accepted scientific principles, and must incorporate procedural safeguards to ensure fairness in application and protection of legitimate interests of privacy and confidentiality. To provide a drug-free workforce for the Electrical Construction Industry, each IBEW local union and NECA chapter shall implement an area-wide Substance Abuse Testing Policy. The policy shall include minimum standards as required by the IBEW and NECA. Should any of the required minimum standards fail to comply with federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations, they shall be modified by the local union and chapter to meet the requirements of those laws and regulations.

  • Abuse You agree to immediately notify us if you suspect fraudulent or abusive activity. If you so notify us, or we otherwise suspect fraudulent or abusive activity, you agree to cooperate with us in any fraud investigation and to use any fraud prevention measures we prescribe. Your failure to cooperate or to use such measures will result in your liability for all fraudulent usage or abusive activity associated with your Equipment (as defined below).

  • Narcotics Seniority for vacation purposes shall be determined by continuous service in the department. The employee with the longest continuous service in rank or grade shall prevail in case of ties.

  • Alcohol Use Alcohol use is the consumption of any beverage, mixture or preparation including any medication containing alcohol.

  • Professionalism The Engineer shall perform the services it provides under the contract: (1) with the professional skill and care ordinarily provided by competent engineers practicing under the same or similar circumstances and professional license and (2) as expeditiously as is prudent considering the ordinary professional skill and care of a competent engineer.
