Amount of Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave. 27.2.1 Paid personal/carer’s leave will be available to an Employee, when they are absent:
27.2.1.1 due to personal illness or injury; or
27.2.1.2 for the purposes of providing care or support for an immediate family or household member who is ill or injured or who requires the Employee’s care or support due to an unexpected emergency.
27.2.2 For each year of service with the Employer an Employee is entitled to 10 days of paid personal/ carer’s leave. Paid personal/carer’s leave is paid at the Employee’s ordinary rate of pay.
Amount of Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave. (a) A full-time employee is entitled to accumulate 76 hours (10 days) personal / xxxxx's leave in total per annum and accrues progressively during a year of service according to the employee ordinary hours of work and accumulates from year to year.
(b) Part-time employees are entitled to personal/xxxxx's leave on a pro- rata basis.
Amount of Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave. (a) The amount of leave a Biomedical Engineer is entitled to depends on how long the Biomedical Engineer has worked for the Employer and accrues as follows:
(i) During the first year of service – 7.6 hours for each month of service up to
Amount of Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave. Paid personal/carers leave is available to an Employee when they are absent: Due to personal illness or injury (personal leave); or
Amount of Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave. (a) For each year of service with the employer, and employee is entitled to 10 days' paid personal/xxxxx's leave.
(b) Part time employees are entitled to 10 days' paid personal/carer's leave on a pro rata basis.
(c) An employee's entitlement to paid personal/xxxxx's leave accrues progressively during a year of service according to the employee's ordinary hours of work, and accumulates from year to year.
Amount of Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave. (1) A full-time employee is entitled to accumulate 15 days personal / xxxxx’s leave during the employee’s first year of continuous service. The employee is then entitled to accumulate 25 days of personal / carer’s leave in the second and subsequent years of continuous service. Personal / xxxxx’s leave accrues progressively during a year of service according to the employee’s ordinary hours of work, and accumulates from year to year.
(2) Paid personal / carer’s leave will be available to an employee when they are absent due to:
(i) personal illness or injury (sick leave); or
(ii) for the purposes of caring for an immediate family or household member that is sick and requires the employee’s care and support (carer’s leave) or an unexpected emergency affecting the member.
(3) Part-time employees receive a pro rata entitlement.
Amount of Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave. (a) The amount of personal/carer’s leave to which a full-time Employee is entitled depends on how long they have worked for Xxxxxxxx and accrues progressively as follows:
(i) up to 7 hours and 36 minutes, for each month of service in the first year of service;
(ii) up to 106 hours and 24 minutes in each year in the second, third and fourth years of service; and
(iii) up to 159 hours and 36 minutes in the fifth and following years of service.
(b) Part-time Employees are entitled to accrue a pro rata amount of the full-time entitlement to paid personal/carer’s leave set out in clause 46.3(a), calculated on a pro rata basis according to the Employee’s ordinary hours of work and accruing progressively during a year of service.
Amount of Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave. (a) The amount of personal/xxxxx’s leave to which a full-time Employee is entitled depends on how long they have worked for the Employer and accrues as follows:
(i) Up to 7 hours and 36 minutes, for each month of service in the first year of service (provided that where an Employee works regular shifts of 9.1 paid hours or longer the Employee will receive 7.6 hours per month of service or 10 days leave, whichever provides the greater benefit);
(ii) Up to 106 hours and 24 minutes in each year in the second, third and fourth years of service; and
(iii) Up to 159 hours and 36 minutes in the fifth and following years of service.
(b) Part-time Employees are entitled to accrue a pro-rata amount of the full-time entitlement to paid personal/carer’s leave set out in clause 50.2(a) above, calculated on a pro rata basis according to the Employee’s ordinary hours of work.
Amount of Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave. (a) The amount of personal/xxxxx’s leave to which a full-time Employee is entitled depends on how long they have worked for the Employer and accrues as follows:
(i) up to 7 hours and 36 minutes, for each month of service in the first year of service;
(ii) up to 106 hours and 24 minutes in each year in the second, third and fourth years of service; and
(iii) up to 159 hours and 36 minutes in the fifth and following years of service.
(b) Part-time Employees are entitled to a pro rata amount of the full-time Employee entitlement to paid personal/carer’s leave set out in clause 48.3(a), calculated on a pro rata basis according to the Employee’s ordinary hours of work.
(c) Notwithstanding the above, full-time and part-time Employees employed by the Employer at the Grand Cedar facility as at 14 February 2022 and whose employment was covered by the Care Staffing Solutions Pty Ltd Enterprise Agreement 2019 immediately prior to the Agreement coming into operation, will continue to accrue personal leave, according to their ordinary hours of work, at the following rate:
(i) up to 7 hours and 36 minutes, for each month of service in the first, second and third year of service;
(ii) up to 159 hours and 36 minutes in the fourth and following years of service.
(d) Payment of paid personal / carer’s leave is at the Employee’s Ordinary Rate for the Employee’s ordinary hours of work in the period over which the paid leave is taken.
Amount of Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave. 13.2.1 An employee is entitled to ten (10) days paid personal/career’s leave in each year of service.
13.2.2 At the completion of each year personal leave not taken will accumulate.
