Area Representatives. The Employer recognizes the right of the Association Local Unit Officers to designate area representatives who shall be authorized to take up employee or group grievances through the grievance procedure.
Area Representatives. Area Representatives, Unit Representatives and Stewards shall be selected from among the employees in the bargaining units in accordance with Local 652 Constitutional By- Laws. The Union will furnish to the Company a current list in writing of representatives as changes occur.
Area Representatives. It is mutually agreed that for the purpose of operating under this Agreement, employees shall be entitled to representation by six (6) designated Area Representatives. All Area Representatives shall be full-time regular employees of the bargaining unit. An Area Representative will be assigned to each facility and each shift. For the purposes of this provision, Jail Division 1 & 2 shall be considered one facility and Jail Division 3 as one facility.
Area Representatives. The Company acknowledges the right of the Association to select Area Representatives from its membership. The Association has the right to select at least one (1) Area Representative in each location covered in Article Scope and Recognition. The Association may appoint one (1) Area Representative for every fifty (50) Employees or a portion thereof in any location. The Association and the Company may mutually agree to adjust the number of Area Representatives based on geographic work-related factors. The Association may appoint an alternate to act in the event of absence of an Area Representative. The Area Representatives or their alternates shall be members of the Grievance Committee. The Area Representatives or their alternates shall assist in complaint discussions as required and process grievances as described in the Grievance Procedure.
Area Representatives. The Employer recognizes the right of WSNA Local Unit Officers to designate area representatives who shall be authorized to take up nurse or group grievances through the grievance procedure.
Area Representatives. 1. For the purpose of representation within the District, or elected as Area representatives, the Union shall be entitled to a reasonable number of area representatives who shall restrict their activities to the processing of grievances, and in this connection shall be allowed reasonable amount of time off with pay for this purpose. Written notification shall be sent by the Union to the OUSD Labor Relations Department and the Early Childhood Education Department Office which shall include names of persons selected.
2. When an employee is required to meet with a supervisor and the employee reasonably anticipates the meeting may involve questions leading to formal disciplinary action, he/she shall be entitled to have a Association Representative present, if he/she so requests.
3. Area Representatives shall make arrangement with the Children’s Center Office before leaving work sites to resolve or investigate grievances. This provision shall not be used to prevent an Area Representative from performing his/her duties or obligations set forth in this section.
Area Representatives. Subject to a maximum number to be agreed between the Association and the University through the Clerical Staff Negotiating Committee from time to time:- - reasonable relief for their circumstances, subject to obtaining prior permission from the head of department or his nominee, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Area Representatives. Within the area they represent by prior announcement to the appropriate heads of department or their representatives.
Area Representatives. We appoint certain persons who meet our standards and qualifications and who are willing to undertake special efforts (“Area Representatives”), the right to solicit and screen prospective franchise owners for the right to own and operate EVOS® Restaurant franchises (“Franchises”), to assist us in rendering certain services to them, within a defined geographic territory (the “Territory”) and to perform certain other business activities and responsibilities that we require from time to time. Individuals or entities granted Franchises are referred to as “Franchise Owner(s).” You want to serve as one of our Area Representatives. The business you conduct under this Agreement is referred to as the “Area Representative Business.”
Area Representatives. The Area representatives of the Board of Directors shall be elected by the Active and Associate members of the Association in their respective Area, or shall be appointed, as provided for in the Bylaws of the Association. (Bylaw 5.8)
(a) A member’s area of representation shall be based on the member’s resident address, not place of employment.
(b) Area Representatives must be Active Members and be residents of and/or employed in their respective Areas.
