Assignment of Hours. Insofar as the service require- ments will permit, employee preference in each office in order of seniority shall be taken into account in the assignment of hours.
Assignment of Hours. The Company shall have the sole right to assign hours of work, including overtime, and to change such assignments from time to time, subject to the terms of this Agreement.
Assignment of Hours. Scheduled and unscheduled open shifts will first be offered to those employees for whom the extra shift will not result in the payment of overtime. The Employer shall utilize it best efforts to offer extra shifts to employees with the most seniority for whom the extra shift will not result in the payment of overtime. Assignment of Hours. The Employer will make every effort to assign 144 hours of work in a four (4) week schedule to full-time employees. The majority of shifts scheduled by the Employer shall be eight (8) hours or longer. There shall be no split shifts.

A Nurse who is called or volunteers in these situations shall be assigned where the vacant position exists and shall not displace a regularly scheduled Nurse on that shift, unless absolutely necessary to provide coverage for the vacant hours. If the Nurse who is called or volunteers for vacant hours refuses to work where the vacancy exists, then the Nurse who is displaced will receive the bonus for extra hours rather than the Nurse who is working the extra hours.

Extra shifts will be granted as provided in this section before using temporary employees of outside employment agencies.
