Attendance at College Functions a. Full-time bargaining unit members are required, and part-time bargaining unit members are encouraged, to attend the College’s Commencement Ceremony. The College will provide required caps, gowns, and hoods for faculty who timely commit to attend Commencement. Faculty members shall provide any other regalia.

Attendance at College Functions. Faculty attendance at all College-sponsored functions and activities shall be voluntary unless part of the individual faculty member’s workload.
Attendance at College Functions. 11 Attendance by members at Commencement is mandatory, and attendance at a reasonable 12 number of other College functions is encouraged. The College will furnish academic attire 13 when needed, at no cost to the member.

  • Student Tuition Recovery Fund “The State of California established the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) to relieve or mitigate economic loss suffered by a student in an educational program at a qualifying institution, who is or was a California resident while enrolled, or was enrolled in a residency program, if the student enrolled in the institution, prepaid tuition, and suffered an economic loss. Unless relieved of the obligation to do so, you must pay the state-imposed assessment for the STRF, or it must be paid on your behalf, if you are a student in an educational program, who is a California resident, or are enrolled in a residency program, and prepay all or part of your tuition. You are not eligible for protection from the STRF, and you are not required to pay the STRF assessment, if you are not a California resident, or are not enrolled in a residency program.”

  • Primary Function (a) The primary function of the troubleshooter shall be to address concerns of bargaining unit employees who seek a determination of their employment status (an employee of regular status or an employee of auxiliary status) pursuant to the terms of this Collective Agreement.

  • MANAGEMENT FUNCTION 3.01 The Union recognizes the right of the Company to hire, promote, transfer, demote and layoff employees and to suspend, discharge or otherwise discipline employees for just cause subject to the right of any employee to lodge a grievance in the manner and to the extent as herein provided. The Union further recognizes the right of the Company to operate and manage its business in all respects, to maintain order and efficiency in its operations, and to determine the location of its operations, its products, the scheduling of its operations and its methods, processes, and means of conducting its business.   • Education & Assistance Fund a. The Employer shall contribute and remit such contributions to the Union’s Education & Assistance Fund as specified in Schedule “A” for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement.

  • Member Services a. Instructions on how to contact the Member Services Call Center and a description of the functions of Member Services;

  • Information about Contractor Employees 23.1. The Authority may by notice require the Contractor to disclose such information as the Authority may require relating to those of the Contractor’s employees carrying out activities under or connected with the Framework Agreement.

  • Shared Leave Administration A. The calculation of the recipient’s leave value will be in accordance with applicable Office of Financial Management policies, regulations, and procedures. The leave received will be coded as shared leave and be maintained separately from all other leave balances. All paid leave accrued must be used prior to using shared leave when the employee qualifies for shared leave under 13.2 A.1. Accrued vacation leave and paid military leave allowed under RCW 38.40.060 must be used prior to using shared leave for employees qualified under 13.2 A.2. All paid leave, except sick leave, must be used prior to using shared leave when the employee qualifies for shared leave under 13.2 A.3 and 13.2 A.4.

  • Vacation and Sick Leave Administration (a) for the purposes of administration of clauses 34.11 and 34.12, where an employee does not work the same number of hours each week, the normal workweek shall be the weekly average calculated on a monthly basis.
