Available AssistanceEligible households may receive up to 12 months of assistance, plus an additional 3 months if the grantee determines the extra months are needed to ensure housing stability and grantee funds are available. The payment of existing housing-related arrears that could result in eviction of an eligible household is prioritized. Assistance must be provided to reduce an eligible household’s rental arrears before the household may receive assistance for future rent payments. Once a household’s rental arrears are reduced, grantees may only commit to providing future assistance for up to three months at a time. Households may reapply for additional assistance at the end of the three-month period if needed and the overall time limit for assistance is not exceeded. Available AssistanceThe University believes that rehabilitation is the preferred solution to drug and alcohol abuse. We are committed to the health, safety, and well-being of all employees and students. For this reason, students are encouraged to use the University’s Counseling Support Services and Health Services for assistance and/or referral. The responsibility for following through with treatment recommendations and referrals belongs to the individual. Participation in rehabilitation does not shield students from disciplinary action for noncompliance with the University’s Community Standards of Conduct.
Available Assistance. The OPEN SKIES Response Center may be contacted for assistance in the following areas. All services are in English, unless otherwise specified in this Agreement.
Available Assistance. In any emergency declaration, the Associate Director or Regional Direc- tor may provide assistance, as follows: (a) Direct any Federal agency, with or without reimbursement, to utilize its authorities and the resources xxxxx- xx to it under Federal law (including personnel, equipment, supplies, facili- ties, and managerial, technical and ad- visory services) in support of State and local emergency assistance efforts to save lives, protect property and public health and safety, and lessen or avert the threat of a catastrophe; (b) Coordinate all disaster relief as- sistance (including voluntary assist- ance) provided by Federal agencies, private organizations, and State and local governments; (c) Provide technical and advisory as- sistance to affected State and local governments for: (1) The performance of essential com- munity services; (2) Issuance of warnings of risks or hazards; (3) Public health and safety informa- tion, including dissemination of such information; (4) Provision of health and safety measures; and (5) Management, control, and reduc- tion of immediate threats to public health and safety; (d) Provide emergency assistance under the Xxxxxxxx Act through Federal agencies; (e) Remove debris in accordance with the terms and conditions of section 407 of the Xxxxxxxx Act; (f) Provide assistance in accordance with section 408 of the Xxxxxxxx Act.; and (g) Assist State and local govern- ments in the distribution of medicine, food, and other consumable supplies, and emergency assistance.   • Reasonable Assistance The LFC will provide the Service Provider with such assistance as the Service Provider reasonably requires to comply with the conditions in clauses 2.2(a) and (c).

  • Mandatory Assistance If a third party dispute or litigation, or both, arises out of, or relates in any way to the services provided to the City under a Contract, Contractor , its agents, officers, and employees agree to assist in resolving the dispute or litigation upon City’s request. Contractor’s assistance includes, but is not limited to, providing professional consultations,

  • Financing Assistance O&M Contractor shall cooperate with Owner in connection with Owner’s efforts to obtain and maintain any Financing. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, O&M Contractor: (a) shall execute such typical documents as an operations and maintenance contractor executes in a project finance transaction or as Owner reasonably requests in connection with obtaining and maintaining any Financing, including a consent to assignment and any certifications and opinions required with respect to the Financing in form and substance reasonably acceptable to O&M Contractor, Owner and the Project Lender; (b) shall deliver to Owner and the Project Lender information customarily provided in connection with a project financing in format and content mutually acceptable to the Parties regarding the financial capability of O&M Contractor and shall facilitate reasonable inspections of the Site; (c) shall, at Owner’s reasonable request, attend and participate in presentations to actual and potential Project Lenders; (d) hereby authorizes Owner to (i) provide this Agreement to potential Project Lenders (subject to Section 17.5), and (ii) include a description of the material provisions of this Agreement in any offering circular or document required for the Financing and/or, if the Financing must be registered or otherwise disclosed in accordance with Applicable Law, that Owner may, after consultation with O&M Contractor, file this Agreement as an exhibit to such registration statement or other disclosure; (e) at Owner’s request, shall reasonably cooperate with the independent engineer and any rating agencies or credit enhancement entities associated with a Financing; (f) at Owner’s request, shall reasonably cooperate in connection with tax-exempt Financing or any Financing or other arrangements effected to reduce taxes on the Project or the work, which cooperation shall not include, or be considered or deemed to be, tax advice or planning; and (g) shall provide Owner and the Project Lenders with legal opinions of counsel regarding the execution, delivery and validity of this Agreement, absence of conflicts, and the legal status of O&M Contractor, as Owner or any Project Lender may reasonably request in connection with obtaining and maintaining the Financing, provided that Owner shall reimburse O&M Contractor for any third-party expense reasonably incurred in providing such opinions.

  • Termination Assistance Upon nearing the end of the final term or termination of this Agreement, without respect to cause, the Party shall take all reasonable and prudent measures to facilitate any transition required by the State. All State property, tangible and intangible, shall be returned to the State upon demand at no additional cost to the State in a format acceptable to the State.

  • Turnover Assistance Grantee will provide any assistance and actions reasonably necessary to enable System Agency or its designee to effectively close out the Grant Agreement and transfer the performance and obligations of the Grant Agreement to another Grantee or to System Agency if necessary. Grantee agrees that this obligation survives the termination, regardless of whether for cause or convenience, or the expiration of the Grant Agreement and remains in effect until completed to the satisfaction of System Agency.

  • Relocation Assistance The Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, (42 U.S.C. § 4601), prohibits unfair treatment of persons displaced or whose property has been acquired because of Federal or Federal-aid programs and projects.

  • Employee Assistance Drug and alcohol counseling, rehabilitation, and employee assistance are available from or through the Employer’s employee assistance program provider(s) (E.A.P.).
