Baggage Delay. If Your checked-in baggage is delayed by the Common Carrier during Your Journey from Your arrival time at the Destination, We will pay the amount stated in the Schedule of Benefits. If Your checked-in baggage is lost, stolen or accidentally damaged during the delay, and You made a claim under Benefit 15, We will deduct any payment We make under Benefit 14 from Your overall claim under Benefit 15.

Baggage DelayThe Company will reimburse the Insured Person for reasonable essential expenses incurred, for the emergency replacement of essential items if his baggage is delayed, misdirected or temporarily misplaced by a carrier. The baggage delay must exceed the Excess.
Baggage Delay. (Applicable to Premier Plan only) 1. For Baggage delay in Hong Kong. 2. For the failure of the Insured Person to obtain written confirmation from the Common Carrier as to the number of hours and the reason for such delay. 3. With respect to any of the Insured Person’s baggage which the Insured Person either intentionally sent by a different Common Carrier than the one in which the Insured Person was traveling, or with respect to any baggage, souvenir or other items which the Insured Person mailed or shipped separately. 4. For any loss claimed under Section 12Baggage and Personal Effects arising from the same cause. 5. Any delay relating to baggage that is sent on an alternative flight or by other means because the Insured Person’s baggage exceeded the maximum weight permitted by the Common Carrier. 6. For more than three (3) payable claims under this Section during each Policy Period.
Baggage DelayIn the event of an Insured Person's checked-in baggage being delayed due to misdirection or temporarily displace caused by Public Common Carrier for at least six (6) hours after the arrival of the Insured Person at the scheduled destination outside Hong Kong during the Covered Trip, the Company will pay, subject to the Terms of this Policy, the Maximum Benefit stated in the Amount of Benefit stated in the Schedule. a) The period of delay will be calculated from the actual arrival time of the Public Common Carrier. b) The Insured Person must obtain written confirmation from the Public Common Carrier stating the period of delay and the reason in order to claim under this section. c) The Insured Person cannot claim for under both benefits of Coverage 5a Personal Baggage and Coverage 4d Baggage Delay for the same loss. This section does not cover any delay or loss a) arising from or due to confiscation, detention or destruction by customs, other authorities or government officials. b) of luggage sent in advance, mailed or shipped separately.
Baggage Delay. If the Insured Person’s accompanied check-in flight luggage is not delivered to him/her or has not arrived at the destination airport within six (6) hours of the Insured Person’s actual arrival at the scheduled destination point of his Scheduled Flight, the company will indemnify the actual additional expenses necessarily and reasonably incurred within two (2) days at such scheduled destination for emergency purchase of essential clothing and requisites, up to the maximum limits as specified in the Schedule provided that such luggage has been checked-in by an authorized official or the air carrier with which the Insured Person was traveling at the time of the occurrence. Such Insurance as is afforded an Insured Person shall apply only to the following hazards: a. any delay or cancellation by an air common carrier caused by inclement weather; b. any delay or cancellation due to a strike or other job action by employees of any air common carrier scheduled to be used by the Insured Person during his/her trip; c. any delay or cancellation caused by equipment failure of an air common carrier; d. any delay caused by mishandling of Luggage on the part of the air common carrier.
Baggage Delay. We will reimburse the Insured Person up to the Daily Benefit Amount of one-hundred dollars ($100.00) per day, in the event of a Baggage Delay. a. Baggage Delay means a delay or misdirection of the Insured Person’s Baggage by a Common Carrier for more than four (4) hours from the time the Insured Person arrives at the destination on the Insured Person’s ticket.
Baggage Delay. If your checked baggage is delayed by the common carrier for more than six (6) hours, during the trip en route to your destination and before returning to your original point of departure, you will be reimbursed up to $500 per insured person, to a maximum of $1,000 per trip for all insured persons combined, for the purchase of essential items. Purchases must be made within thirty-six (36) hours of your arrival at your destination. The costs of items purchased under this benefit will reduce the maximum amount payable under a) above if it is later determined that your personal baggage has been lost, stolen or damaged. This benefit is only available for your outbound travel; baggage delay is not available on your return travel back to your province or territory of residence.

Baggage DelayIn the event Your checked-in baggage is delayed, misdirected or temporarily misplaced by the Air Common Carrier, We will pay for your inconvenience. The delay is calculated from the time of Your arrival at the scheduled destination till the time You received Your baggage. A confirmation letter from Air Common Carrier or their handling agents on the actual date and time of baggage delivery is required as proof of delay. 1. Baggage Delay not immediately reported to Air Common Carrier Authorities. 2. Baggage Delay due to confiscation or detention by customs, immigration and/or public authorities.
Baggage DelayThe Company shall pay the Maximum Benefit as stated in the Schedule of Benefits in consequence of temporary deprivation of the Insured Person’s baggage for over ten (10) hours from the time of arrival at the destination due to the misdirection in delivery of the baggage by a Common Carrier on or in which the Insured Person is traveling during the insured Journey. This benefit can only be utilized once during the insured Journey.
Baggage Delay. If your baggage is delayed by a travel supplier during your trip, we will reimburse you for expenses you incur for the essential items you need until your baggage arrives, up to the maximum benefit shown in your Benefits Summary for baggage delay. The following conditions apply: a. Your baggage must be delayed for at least the Minimum Required Delay listed under baggage delay in b. If you do not provide receipts, the maximum amount payable is the No Receipts Limit listed in your Benefits Summary. Only available for your outbound travel (not your return travel).
