Banked Personal Leave. If personal leave days are not used by the teacher, he/she may elect to have the day(s) either banked in a personal leave account for up to a total of 5 banked days or deposited into his/her sick leave at the rate of one day per each unused personal leave day remaining. Once a teacher has banked days, he/she may take all the days in succession if he/she so chooses with the same conditions as outlined in Subds. 1. and 2. above. A teacher is limited to using five consecutive days of personal leave to one time every two years.

Banked Personal Leave a. Each fall, teachers may bank up to two (2) personal leave days which were not used during the preceding school year. The maximum number of personal leave days in the bank shall be two (2) days. b. Use of banked personal days shall be in strict accordance with the criteria set forth in 6.4.1 of the partiescollective bargaining agreement. When requesting the use of a banked personal leave day, the teacher shall be required to state, on a form provided by the District, the reason for the leave in sufficient detail so as to enable the Administration to make an informed decision as to whether the reason for the request complies with the criteria set forth in 6.4. c. Use of a contractual personal leave day versus a banked personal leave day shall be at the teacher's discretion. The banked personal leave days can't however, be used in conjunction with contractual personal leave days.

  • Personal Leave Written request for a personal leave of absence without pay will be considered on an individual basis by the Hospital. Such requests are to be submitted to the employee's immediate supervisor at least four (4) weeks in advance, unless not reasonably possible to give such notice, and a written reply will be given within fourteen (14) days except in cases of emergency in which case a reply will be given as soon as possible. Employees needing personal leave days for appointments with medical practitioners may utilize the personal leave language. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Personal Leave of Absence The Administrator may grant a request for leave of absence for personal reasons without pay provided that he receives at least one (1) month's clear notice, in writing, unless impossible, and provided that such leave may be arranged without undue inconvenience to the normal operations of the Nursing Home. Employees when applying for such leave shall indicate the proposed date of departure and return. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Educational Leave Leave without pay may be granted for educational leave for the duration of actual attendance in an educational program.
