Basic Skills. ( ) Possesses required knowledge and skills in the areas of English, reading, spelling, and writing to effectively communicate with supervisor and staff (both verbally and in writing). Comments:
Basic Skills. The Xxxxxx shall: Be knowledgeable of general janitorial practices including correct and appropriate application of all chemicals, use of all cleaning machines and tools, and all contractor-provided tools.   • SPECIAL SKILLS Five percent (5%) of the employees (not less than one person) to be laid off within a class within an agency shall be exempt from the seniority factor when the State determines that there is a need for special skills. “Special skills” refers to jobs difficult to fill with a replacement except after extensive training.
