Board Hearing/Employee Rights. When any teacher is required to appear before any administrator, Board Committee, or the Board of Education for purposes of a formal investigation preceding possible discipline or dismissal of that teacher, the teacher is entitled to written notification of the meeting, informing the reasons for the meeting and the right to have Association representation during the meeting. With the teacher's prior consent, the Association President or designee will be given a copy of the written notice. To the extent practicable, disciplinary meetings will be held after the close of the student day.

Board Hearing/Employee Rights. When an Employee is required to appear before an administrator concerning any matter which is likely to result in a written warning, written reprimand, suspension or dismissal, or Board of Education concerning any matter which is disciplinary in nature, the Employee shall be entitled to have a representative of the Association present to advise him/her and represent him/her during such meeting or interview. If an Employee is required to appear before the Board of Education concerning any matter which is disciplinary in nature, the Employee shall be given at least forty-eight (48) hours prior written notice of the reasons for such meeting.

  • Returning Employee Rights Employees returning from authorized leave without pay will be employed in the same position or in another position in the same job classification, as determined by the Employer, provided that such reemployment is not in conflict with other articles in this Agreement.   • Joint Benefits Committee In order to achieve benefit cost reductions, or at a minimum, cost containment, the parties agree to establish and aggressively participate in a Joint Benefits Committee. The parties agree that the Joint Benefits Committee shall explore all potential options or changes that could generate cost reductions to the Benefit Plans with the following order of priorities:

  • EMPLOYEE RIGHTS The County shall not hinder or discipline an employee for exercising any rights or benefits provided in the Memorandum of Understanding.

  • Probation for Newly Hired Employees (a) The Employer may reject a probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Article 11.2

  • Leave of Absence for College Committees An employee whose assigned work schedule would prevent her/him from attending meetings of a college committee to which s/he has been elected or appointed, will be granted a leave of absence from her/his regular duties without loss of pay or other entitlements to attend such meeting(s). Where such leave is granted, the employer will replace the employee as necessary. Costs arising from this provision will not be charged against the program area of the participating employee.

  • Benefits Committee As per LOA#10, a benefits committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, shall convene upon request to address all matters that may arise in the operation of the OSSTF ELHT.

  • Requiring Health Benefits for Covered Employees Contractor agrees to comply fully with and be bound by all of the provisions of the Health Care Accountability Ordinance (HCAO), as set forth in San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 12Q, including the remedies provided, and implementing regulations, as the same may be amended from time to time. The provisions of section 12Q.5.1 of Chapter 12Q are incorporated by reference and made a part of this Agreement as though fully set forth herein. The text of the HCAO is available on the web at xxx.xxxxx.xxx/xxxx. Capitalized terms used in this Section and not defined in this Agreement shall have the meanings assigned to such terms in Chapter 12Q.
