Cancellation by University. The University may terminate the housing contract under the conditions stated in the circumstances identified below. In each case, the resident will be responsible for full or partial payment of the contract and meal plan contract.
(1) The Office of Residential Life may terminate the housing contract with appropriate notice if the resident is found to have violated university rules, policies and regulations.
(2) If a resident fails to comply with any portion of the housing contract, the Office of Residential Life may terminate the contract with appropriate notice.
(3) The housing contract is automatically terminated if the resident is ineligible to return to the university for disciplinary reasons.
(4) The university reserves the right to administratively remove any resident immediately if, in the judgment of the university, a resident’s behavior will have an effect on their own safety or that of others.
Cancellation by University. University reserves the right to cancel any performance and terminate this Agreement for the protection of public health and safety, or for reasons arising from events outside of the University’s reasonable control. In the event of such termination the University, University shall refund to Renter the Rental Deposit, together with all fees previously paid by Xxxxxx, less all reasonable expenses, excluding administrative/clerical fee* incurred by University in connection with this Agreement prior to the date of termination.
Cancellation by University. The University reserves the right to terminate this agreement for good cause (which does not include subsequent scheduling of a more preferred event). In the event the University exercises that right, it should refund or release User from liability for payment of the amount provided for in paragraph three of this agreement. Should the University exercise said right to terminate this agreement, User agrees to forego any and all claims against the University and further agrees to waive any and all rights of this agreement and User shall have no recourse of any kind against the University.
Cancellation by University. Confirmed reservations are not subject to cancellation except when (a) Vendor fails to comply with the terms and conditions stated herein, or (b) University reschedules or cancels the Event due to a Force Majeure occurrence or other reason. If the Event is rescheduled Vendor will be invited to provide services on the new date(s), and may either accept the invitation or decline. If Vendor declines, no fees shall be owed by the University. If the Event is cancelled and not rescheduled, no fees shall be owed by the University.

(4) The university reserves the right to administratively remove any resident immediately if, in the judgment of the university, a resident’s behavior will have an effect on their own health or safety or that of others.
(5) The university reserves the right to terminate or suspend the housing contact due to COVID-19 (or other pandemic) related causes or impacts, and to take other measures in response to such causes or impacts. Residents understand that there are various risks and factors beyond the control of the university relating to the current public health situation, and campus operations and services may be severely limited or disrupted for periods of time. Students are voluntarily assuming these risks and acknowledging these factors, and agree to comply with all related public health guidelines and restrictions.
Cancellation by University. University may cancel its reservation without cause, up to seven days prior to the date of first event or room booking under this Contract. In the event University cancels without cause less than seven days prior to the date of first event or room booking under this Contract, University will pay the difference between the amount owed by University and any revenue received by Contractor to relet rooms and spaces formerly reserved to University. Any funds paid by University as liquidated damages will be counted as a credit toward the use of the Contractor’s facilities for one year from the date of the canceled event, use of rooms, or use of space. Notwithstanding the foregoing, University shall not be obligated to pay any amount for cancellation of the rooms and/or space if Contractor is able to relet the reserved rooms and/or space. Contractor shall make every effort to cover and relet rooms and spaces formerly reserved to University and cover and reallocate all deliverables reserved for University. Contractor shall provide a description of all such efforts in an invoice.
Cancellation by University a. Violation of Policy or Terms The University reserves the right to refuse admission or readmission to University housing or to cancel the housing contract during the academic year due to student’s failure to meet University policies or regulations, and all policies within the Housing and Residence Life Departmental Handbook, in the event of felony conviction by civil authorities or for posing a threat to the health, safety and welfare of University community.
Cancellation by University. 6.1 It is expressly agreed that, notwithstanding the provisions of any other paragraph of this contract, if Licensee should fail to deliver to University any royalty at the time or times that the same should be due to University or if Licensee should in any material respect violate or fail to keep or perform any covenant, condition, or undertaking of this Agreement on its part to be kept or performed hereunder, then and in such event University shall have the right to cancel and terminate this Agreement, and, the license herein provided for, by written notice to Licensee if Licensee has failed to cure any such breach within 60 days of receipt of written notice from University describing such breach.
6.2 Alternatively, instead of such termination, should Licensee be in breach or default as set forth above, and should University be in a position where it could rightfully terminate this Agreement, then in its sole discretion, University may convert this exclusive license to a non-exclusive license upon giving notice of such decision to Licensee.
6.3 If Licensee should be adjudged bankrupt or enter into a composition with or assignment to its creditors, then in such event University shall have the right to cancel and terminate this Agreement, and the license herein provided for, by written notice to Licensee.
6.4 Any termination or cancellation under any provision of this Agreement shall not relieve Licensee of its obligation to pay any royalty or other fees (including attorney's fees pursuant to Article 3.1 hereof) due or owing at the time of such cancellation or termination.
Cancellation by University. If University and Hotel enter into an Event Addendum for Guest Room Accommodations pursuant to this Agreement, and if University subsequently cancels any Guest Room Accommodations, but fails to cancel them within the time specified in sections (a)(i) or (a)(ii) below, Hotel may charge to University documented damages that equal the total room revenue MINUS the number of rooms Hotel is able to resell.
Cancellation by University. The University reserves the right to cancel the student’s housing license agreement (including for one or both terms) and a student’s room assignment in the event of force majeure. In the event of a University contract cancellation for this reason, the student is liable for the applicable prorated room charges for the period of occupancy prior to moving and must move from the accommodation within 72 hours following notice of cancellation by the Director of Housing Services or their designee. Disaffiliation with Greek Organization/Chapter: A student who is participating in the Greek Room Selection process or has been assigned an accommodation in a Greek Chapter Facility and subsequently disaffiliates or resigns from the student’s Greek organization/chapter, or whose membership with the student’s Greek chapter/organization is otherwise subsequently terminated, will be required to move out of the Greek Chapter Facility and the student will be assigned or reassigned to an accommodation in campus housing through the Room Selection for University Housing process (and, this Agreement will not be cancelled in such event).
