Period of Occupancy. The student may occupy an assigned room at the time specified by the university each semester. If the student fails to occupy the room by 5:00 p.m. on the first day of classes, the university reserves the right to reassign the space or initiate a contract cancellation. However, failure to occupy an assigned space does not automatically release the student from contractual obligation. Occupancy of the room must be relinquished at the completion of the contract. University housing facilities are closed during the periods between semesters, the Thanksgiving holiday and spring break. Residents who are not graduating are required to check out of their residence halls within 24 hours after their last exam but no later than 5:00p.m. on the last day of the exam schedule.

Period of Occupancy. A student’s right to occupancy shall begin not earlier than the first day the halls open for each semester, date and time to be announced prior to each semester. The deadline for claiming the assigned room is the Friday of the first week of class of each semester. Failure to do so may result in the reassignment of the room; however, the contract will remain in force. Prior written notice is required to hold a reservation after the deadline. Residence halls are closed at the end of each semester and during official vacations at a time and date specified by Housing Services. The posted closing time at the end of each semester is for those students participating in commencement exercises. All other residents must vacate within 24 hours after their last examination. Residence halls are open during the three breaks in the academic year calendar; however, residents are required to register for break access. The athletic department, the Corps of Cadets, and Oak Lane organizations may coordinate with Housing Services to establish different occupancy schedules. Those organizations should be consulted for particulars. While Housing Services attempts to have the 12-month building(s) (currently Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx – Graduate Life Center) available, major maintenance, emergencies, or renovation may require reassignment to another residence hall during the summer months. Although infrequent, Housing Services reserves the right to reassign any student if necessary.

Period of Occupancy. 1. The Housing and Dining Agreement is for two terms, the fall and spring semesters. The student may occupy an assigned room at the published date and time specified by the university each semester. Non-graduating students must vacate their room 24 hours after their last exam or by the published residence hall closing date and time, whichever comes first. Graduating seniors must vacate by 10am on the day following May commencement. Students who have successfully completed graduation requirements in the Fall semester must vacate their room by the published residence hall closing date and time for the Fall semester.

Unless approved in advance by SWBTS Campus Housing and Residence Life, occupancy for students living in the Residence Halls begins at 9:00 am on the Friday prior to the first day of classes (with the exception of the Fall 2023 term) and ends 24 hours after your last final exam or the Friday of exam week at 11:59 pm, whichever is sooner. If you are graduating, you must move out within 24 hours of your commencement service, but no later than the Saturday following commencement at 2:00 pm.
Period of Occupancy. UNC Charlotte will provide guest housing for the guest period based on the guest’s request and the available date of the unit, after cleaning, to the guest whose signature appears on the Contract application. Under rare circumstances and only by prior agreement, the guest may be granted approval to move into University housing before the period of occupancy or move after the date outlined above. If given approval for housing, the guest agrees to pay the cost of such housing and understands that they may be required to move to a temporary space. Additionally, the guest agrees that all other terms and conditions of this Contract apply during their entire length of stay in guest housing.
Period of Occupancy. Contract occupancy begins at 8:00 am on the Saturday prior to the first day of classes and ends at 12:00 noon the day after the last day of Baylor University final exam or 24 hours after the contract holder’s last final, whichever comes first. Graduating seniors who receive extended stay approval will need to vacate their room prior to 2:00 pm on the Saturday of graduation. The contract period does not include early-arrival days or extended stay days. Students must receive prior approval and may be charged additional fees for these extended days. Xxxxxx Flats, North Village, and University Parks are open for current residents during the winter break period. There are no guests or visitation hours during break periods. Limited University services are provided during these periods, and most campus facilities will be closed. Assignment Policies, Changes, Consolidations, and Cancel Requests Discrimination The University does not discriminate in room assignments on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, religion, age, disability, or associational preference(s). Room Assignment A student may occupy only his or her assigned room. Room assignments are based upon several factors including the student’s housing application complete date, roommate preferences, community preferences, and Campus Living & Learning’s space availability. Students with disabilities must submit an Application for Reasonable Accommodations to the Office of Access and Learning Accommodation by the Priority Deadline of May 1 of the year attending. Requests received after the Priority Deadline will be considered as space allows. Residents are issued access cards (Student ID) or entrance keys that are not to be transferred or duplicated, and students are responsible for the use of assigned cards/keys. Lost, stolen, or missing cards/keys constitute a security risk and automatically result in rekeying or recoding a room lock at a cost to the student. Students are required to return all issued keys upon check-out. Room Changes Campus Living & Learning reserves the right to reassign any student to a different space or adjust the occupancy of a room in order to maximize space utilization or satisfy other Baylor University needs. W&M Residence life shall publish dates of occupancy on its website not later than 60 days before the first day of classes for the fall 2022 semester and for the spring 2023 semester.
