Cancellation of Shift. (applicable to regular part-time employees only) Where a regular part-time employee’s scheduled shift is cancelled by the Hospital with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice, she shall receive time and one-half (1.5) of her regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked on her next shift.
Cancellation of Shift. Cancellation of a shift will be on the basis of seniority of the nurses on the unit on that shift except where there is a nurse working at premium pay on the unit on that shift, who shall be the first to be cancelled. If there is more than one (1) nurse on the unit, that shift, working at premium pay, the most junior nurse will be the first to be cancelled. Shifts will be cancelled in the following order:
1. Lettered regular part time in reverse order of seniority,
2. Casual part time,
3. Regular part time (including temporary part time) in reverse order of seniority.
Cancellation of Shift. If a shift is cancelled without forty-eight (48) hours notice, the appropriate minimum shift shall be paid to the Employees affected.
Cancellation of Shift. In the event a casual employees’ scheduled shift is cancelled with less than twenty- four (24) hours’ notice to the employee, the employee shall be rescheduled to work three (3) hours during their scheduled shift.
Cancellation of Shift. 31.1. This provision applies only to CS Health Professionals.
Cancellation of Shift d) If the Health Centre cancels a shift, at least forty eight (48) hours notice will be given. If less than forty eight (48) hours notice is given, the employee will be paid at time and one-half (1 1/2) of his regular straight time rate of pay for the equivalent number of hours cancelled, on his next shift worked.
Cancellation of Shift. In the case of the Employer cancelling shifts,it shall be done on the basis that the least senior employee called in on that shift shall be the employee's shift cancelled. Category and employees shall be scheduled to have third weekend off. Amendments to the normal schedule may be granted by Management subject to the nature of the request along with reasonable notice; however, at all times proper of the Home shall be the factor. The Corporation agrees to provide two (2) weekends off in each four (4) week schedule for Category and employees with weekends off, except where a request is made to change by an employee or the Union which is in accordance with the terms of the Collective Agreement or in the case of job or the Christmasor New Year's holidays.
Cancellation of Shift. When an employee is notified of the cancellation from a scheduled shift, the employee shall receive at least two (2) hours notice or pay in lieu thereof.
Cancellation of Shift. 243. Casual Employees and Ongoing COMCAR Drivers will be notified of any shift cancellations a minimum of 3 hours prior to the advised start time.
Cancellation of Shift. Except in cases of emergency as defined by the Employment Standards Act, if the Employer fails to provide an employee at least forty-eight (48) hours’ notice when cancelling a shift prior to the shift commencing, the Employee shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours at their regular rate.
