Catering Policies. All food and beverage must be booked through the OCC and provided by one of our exclusive caterers. All food and beverage must be billed through the OCC. Please note: If outside food or beverage is brought into the facility without prior written approval, the OCC reserves the right to end any event due to a breach of contract of the catering policy. All menus must be finalized at least 14 days prior to your scheduled event date and a final head count given no less than 3 days prior to your event. All catering includes a 15% Maintenance Fee. Initial Candy, cakes and confections are allowed from outside caterers with prior approval.

Catering Policies. External clients are required to utilize Penn College catering services for any and all catering needs. The College reserves the right to make reasonable substitutions in menu selection. The Client shall advise the College of all food allergies of attendees. In no instance shall the College be responsible in the event of Client’s failure to disclose such information. It is Penn College catering providers’ responsibility to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines as established by the PA Department of Health to prevent foodborne illnesses. Therefore, as the organizer of this event, I release Penn College from any claims which might occur from removal and consumption of prepared food items, cooked, perishable or otherwise, outside designated catering function area. These liabilities include but are not limited to any health hazards resulting from improper or inappropriate handling, storage, and display of removed food items. Client also agrees that no Penn College catering equipment, decorations, dishes, or serving items/utensils/trays may be removed. Should the Client remove said items, additional charges will be incurred.

If submitted later, every effort will be made to serve the food at the requested or most appropriate time of the function; however, we cannot guarantee the quality of the food if the party delays to the prior agreed upon serving time. • For small parties, we offer limited menus and off menu options for our guests. Parties of 25 or more are buffet style only. • The guaranteed number of guests must be received 48 hours prior to the banquet function. This is the number of guests you will be charged for. If more than the quoted guests arrive, you will be charged for those guests additionally. • Should a final headcount not be received within the 48 hours, we will charge for the number of guests quoted in the initial booking. • Our kitchen will be prepared to serve only 10% over the final headcount. Our buffets are not unlimited.

Catering Policies. 1. You may provide your own food, either prepared by you, or prepared by another entity, and brought to the CHR for the purpose of serving it to participants. 2. You may contract with a licensed Caterer to provide all food and necessary service wares for the event. There is no approved Caterer requirement. Caterers will share in the responsibility to leave the facility in the same condition as upon arrival, at conclusion of the event. 3. Kitchen rental fee will include use of counter surfaces, electrical outlets, and refrigerator for cold storage. It does not include provision of Ice. Water from the faucet is potable. Cooking from raw ingredients will not be permitted. It does not include any dishes, flatware, or service wares. 4. Any equipment for heating / holding hot food or beverages must be provided by the booking individual. With exception of the existing refrigerator, any equipment for freezing / chilling / holding cold food or beverages must be provided by the Lessee. 5. A Food Liability Waiver must be signed and on file prior to the start of the Function.
