Employees and the Union shall hold the Employer harmless and shall indemnify the Employer from responsibility for withholding errors and damages caused by faulty information furnished by the employees or the Union, and the Union shall promptly refund to the employee any amounts paid to the Union in error.

Check Off of Union Dues and Initiation. 3.01 Each month the Company shall deduct from the pay due to each employee who is covered by the Agreement commencing with the employees' first day of employment, Union Dues as determined by the Secretary Treasurer of the Union. The Company agrees to a check-off of the Union Initiation Fee as determined by the Secretary Treasure of the Union with the employees' first pay, such pay to be forwarded to the Union office. The Union shall supply the Company with necessary check-off authorization cards. The authorization card must be completed in full by the employees (i.e. full name birthday, complete address including apartment number, city and postal code). It is the responsibility of the Company to specify on the authorization card whether the employee is full-time or part-time, and must also specify the gender of the employee. All dues shall be forwarded to the Union office by the 20th of the following month.

UT agrees that the United States, at a minimum, shall be entitled to recoup from UT any overpayment plus applicable interest and penalties as a result of the inclusion of such Unallowable Costs on previously-submitted cost reports, information reports, cost statements, or requests for payment. Any payments due after the adjustments have been made shall be paid to the United States pursuant to the direction of the Department of Justice and/or the affected agencies. The United States reserves its rights to disagree with any calculations submitted by UT or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates on the effect of inclusion of Unallowable Costs (as defined in this Paragraph) on UT or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates’ cost reports, cost statements, or information reports.
