Child Adoption Sample Clauses

Child Adoption. One (1) day's absence will be allowed for adoption proceedings.
Child Adoption. Any Association Member adopting a child shall be eligible to receive leave similar to maternity leave. Any Association Member planning adoption should notify the Superintendent upon submitting legal application for adoption. Said leave shall commence upon his/her receiving de facto custody of said child or earlier, if necessary to fulfill the requirements for adoption.

Any employee planning adoption should notify his/her principal or other supervisor upon submitting legal application for adoption. Said leave shall commence upon her/his receiving de facto custody of said child or earlier, if necessary to fulfill the requirements for adoption.
Child Adoption. 13.5.1 Any unit member shall be entitled to Child Bonding Leave consistent with 13.4 above.

The leave of absence shall be without pay. 13.9.1 The leave of absence normally will begin on the date of notification that the child is available for adoption or one week prior to the date the employee will take custody of the child; but, in no case shall leave begin prior to one (1) week before the employee will take custody of the child. 13.9.2 The leave shall terminate four (4) weeks after the employee has taken custody of the child. 13.9.3 Insurance benefits will be maintained during the leave. 13.9.4 Time taken under Child Adoption Leave is considered time charged to available leave as authorized through provision #13.14 Family Care leave.

Any secretary planning adoption should notify the Superintendent upon submitting legal application for adoption. Said leave shall commence upon her/his receiving de facto custody of said child or earlier, if necessary to fulfill the requirements for adoption.
