Child Adoption. One (1) day's absence will be allowed for adoption proceedings.
Child Adoption. Any employee adopting a child shall be eligible to receive leave similar to maternity leave. Any employee planning adoption should notify his/her principal or other supervisor upon submitting legal application for adoption. Said leave shall commence upon her/his receiving de facto custody of said child or earlier, if necessary to fulfill the requirements for adoption.
