Common use of Child Birth Leave Clause in Contracts

Child Birth Leave. Upon request, a non-birth parent, of the same or opposite sex, shall be granted a two (2) day leave of absence with pay and up to five (5) additional days off without pay, which shall be taken within seven (7) calendar days following the birth of his/her child. Said employee shall also be entitled up to an additional five (5) calendar days off without pay if he/she so desires.

Child Birth Leave. Upon request, a non-non birth parent, of the same or opposite sex, shall be granted a two (2) day leave of absence with pay and up to five ten (510) additional days off without pay, which shall be taken within seven (7) calendar days following the birth of his/her child. Said employee shall also be entitled up to an additional five seven (57) calendar days off without pay if he/she so desires. Child Birth leave shall be in addition to any parental leave the employee may be entitled to.
