CLASSIFICATION AND POSITION AUDIT SYSTEM. Section 1. The classification of positions within Xxxxxxxxxx County, the duties assigned to those positions, and the methodology used for classification is vested with Management. When a new job classification is established or an existing one is substantially changed, the County will submit the description in writing and meet with the Union to discuss said changes at least fifteen (15) days prior to implementation of those changes. Within thirty (30) days the parties will meet to negotiate the rate of pay for the job. If no agreement on rate of pay can be reached between the parties, they will submit it to the grievance procedure at the third step before a mutually agreed upon neutral hearing officer. Among the factors to be considered in resolving the dispute are the skill, knowledge, and abilities required in the position and the problem-solving, know-how, accountability and working conditions in the position all in relationship to other positions in the classification system.

  • CLASSIFICATION AND WAGES 21.01 The Job Classifications and applicable Wage Rates under this agreement are set forth at Appendix “A” (attached).

  • Classification Review (a) An Employee who has reason to believe that they are improperly classified due to a substantial change in job duties, may apply to the Department Director, or designate, to have the Employee’s classification reviewed. The Director, or designate, will review the Employee’s application and advise the Employee of the Employer’s decision.

  • RECORD RETENTION AND INSPECTION/AUDIT SETTLEMENT The Contractor shall maintain accurate and complete financial records of its activities and operations relating to this Contract in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The Contractor shall also maintain accurate and complete employment and other records relating to its performance of this Contract. The Contractor agrees that the County, or its authorized representatives, shall have access to and the right to examine, audit, excerpt, copy, or transcribe any pertinent transaction, activity, or record relating to this Contract. All such material, including, but not limited to, all financial records, bank statements, cancelled checks or other proof of payment, timecards, sign-in/sign-out sheets and other time and employment records, and proprietary data and information, shall be kept and maintained by the Contractor and shall be made available to the County during the term of this Contract and for a period of five (5) years thereafter unless the County’s written permission is given to dispose of any such material prior to such time. All such material shall be maintained by the Contractor at a location in Los Angeles County, provided that if any such material is located outside Los Angeles County, then, at the County’s option, the Contractor shall pay the County for travel, per diem, and other costs incurred by the County to examine, audit, excerpt, copy, or transcribe such material at such other location.

  • CLASSIFICATION OF POSITIONS The University shall classify and/or reclassify all positions in the bargaining unit according to the nature and difficulty of duties assigned to and performed by the employee based on a current and accurate job description and shall assign to each position in the bargaining unit a classification title, number, and salary range. An employee new to his/her position will receive a copy of his/her job description upon hire. The appropriate administrator/supervisor will review the description with the employee. Materials used in determining classifications and reclassifications, such as class specifications and reclassification interpretation manuals, shall be readily available to the Union and employees on request.

  • JOB CLASSIFICATION AND RECLASSIFICATION 26.01 In order to ensure the appropriate classification of jobs listed under Schedule "A" of the collective agreement, the Parties agree that matters related to the classification of new or existing jobs shall be dealt with in accordance with the Joint Job Evaluation Manual of Procedures forming part of this collective agreement.   • Tax Examinations Abroad 1. A Contracting Party may allow representatives of the competent authority of the other Contracting Party to enter the territory of the first-mentioned Party to interview individuals and examine records with the written consent of the persons concerned. The competent authority of the second-mentioned Party shall notify the competent authority of the first-mentioned Party of the time and place of the meeting with the individuals concerned.

  • Inspection & Audit Contractor agrees that the relevant books, records (written, electronic, computer related or otherwise), including, without limitation, relevant accounting procedures and practices of Contractor or its subcontractors, financial statements and supporting documentation, and documentation related to the work product shall be subject, at any reasonable time, to inspection, examination, review, audit, and copying at any office or location of Contractor where such records may be found, with or without notice by the City, and with regard to any federal funding, the relevant federal agency, the Comptroller General, the General Accounting Office, the Office of the Inspector General, or any of their authorized representatives. All subcontracts shall reflect the requirements of this paragraph.
