Cleaning and Clothing Allowance. 16.1. The voucher system, for cleaning of uniforms or clothing, shall be equivalent to clean 180 units of clothing per year. A unit shall be equivalent to the cost of the cleaning of one (1) shirt. Vouchers shall be designated to be used for: (a) only uniform cleaning; or (b) either uniform or non-uniform cleaning. Members who are assigned to uniformed duties shall receive one hundred and ten (110) vouchers to be used for uniforms plus seventy (70) vouchers to be used for either uniform or non-uniform cleaning. Members assigned to non-uniformed duties shall receive one hundred and eighty (180) vouchers to be used for either uniform or non-uniform cleaning. (2003 AA) 16.2. All members of the Kingston Police who are regularly assigned to plain-clothes duties shall receive a clothing allowance of nine hundred and fifty dollars ($950) per annum. This amount shall be paid on the first regular pay in February of each year. Members transferred to a plain-clothes assignment expected to last the remainder of the calendar year shall be paid at the per diem rate on the second regular pay following the transfer. Further, any member temporarily assigned to plain-clothes duties shall receive a clothing allowance of three dollars and sixty-six cents ($3.66) per working day. Members may submit claims for the per diem allowance on a monthly basis or at the end of the assignment. Members who receive a per annum clothing allowance and prior to the end of the year retire or are transferred at their request to a uniformed position shall have their entitlement adjusted based on the per diem allowance. Any money owed to the Board as a result of this adjustment shall be deducted from a member’s pay. This will not apply where a member’s request is for medical reasons supported by medical certification. (2003 AA)

Cleaning and Clothing Allowance. Section 1: Each employee hereunder will be given uniforms, clothing and equipment as speci­ fied by the Sheriff and approved by the Board, but that the regular deputies will be issued a minimum of clothing and equipment as listed in Appendeces B, C and D and attached hereto. The Board shall maintain the clothing and equipment as provided. Upon termination of employment, it is the responsibility of the employee to return such clothing and equipment to the County. If not returned, the cost of the unreturned clothing and equipment will be deducted from the em­ ployee’s final paycheck and/or other termination remuneration. Section 2: The Board shall also arrange for suitable cleaning of in-line-of-duty uniforms at County expense for all employees hereunder ex­ cept as below. Section 3: Board agrees to pay for the detective, or detectives, for clothing and cleaning of cloth­ ing, as follows: Section 4: Plain-clothed . deputies, as appointed by the Sheriff and approved by the Board, shall receive a clothing maintenance allowance payable as follows: Section 1: Only those employees working full­ time, or at least a forty (40) hour regularly scheduled work week, shall be entitled to fringe benefits herein provided. Fringe benefits means, for this purpose, overtime provisions, health in­ surance, sick leave, clothing allowance and xxxx­ tion. Section 2: The basis for fringe benefits will be as provided under the Xxxxxxx County Personnel Rules and Regulations in effect at the date of this contract or as they are changed during the. life of this contract, except for the following and wherever else modified in this agreement.

Cleaning and Clothing Allowance. 26.1 The city agrees to make a cleaning service available including the repairing, and sewing on of authorized patches, for those employees covered under this Agreement who are furnished uniforms. This cleaning service shall be used only for the uniforms furnished by the City and shall be provided at no cost to the employee. 26.2 The City agrees to pay a clothing allowance to nonuniform personnel in the detective division. This clothing allowance shall be paid in monthly increments of $55.00.

  • FARES AND TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE In lieu of the basic daily excess fares and travel pattern allowance prescribed by Clause 38.1.1 of the award, a payment per day shall be made for each day worked (including RDO’s). This payment shall in no way limit or be construed as a payment in substitution for any other entitlement arising under Clause 38 of the award. Payments shall be as follows: ⮚ 1/3/03 $22.50 per day ⮚ 1/3/04 $23.40 per day ⮚ 1/3/05 $24.55 per day The cost of Citylink tolls or similar will be reimbursed for those employees who are required by the company to use their own vehicle during working hours, but not for travel to and from work.

  • Automobile Allowance The Company shall provide the Executive with an automobile allowance in the amount of $1,000.00 per month to be allocated at the Executive’s discretion, or such other monthly amount designated by the Board, and that allowance shall be payable in regular installments in accordance with the Company’s general payroll practices.

  • Moving Allowance With the prior approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee concerning reimbursable costs, employees involuntarily transferred to a new job location fifty miles or more from the employee’s old residence than the old residence was from the old job location shall be reimbursed for receipted moving expenses, as provided in the IRS guidelines. For the purposes of this section, promotions and the exercise of any bumping option shall be considered as a voluntary transfer. Notwithstanding the above, at the discretion of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee, employees may be reimbursed for moving expenses. 9.6.1 If an employee, whose moving expenses (all or a part) have been paid, resigns within one calendar year of the move, the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee may require the employee to reimburse the Agency for a portion of the moving expenses, based on the length of time the employee worked after the move. 9.6.2 Employees who have been involuntarily transferred or have exercised bumping rights to another geographical location of the State shall be allowed up to twenty-four hours of time off with pay for the purpose of attending to their personal affairs in their present location and establishing their personal affairs in their new location. Such time off from work must be approved in advance by the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee.
