Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) Training. 15.9.1 The Employer and the Union agree that training for managers, supervisors, and Union Representatives responsible for the day-to-day administration of this Agreement is important. The Union will provide training to current Union Representatives, and the Employer will provide training to managers and supervisors on this Agreement.

Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) Training. The Employer and the Union agree that training for managers, supervisors, Union Representatives, and Union Staff Representatives responsible for the day-to-day administration of this Agreement is important. The Union will provide training to current Union Staff Representatives and Union Representatives, and the Employer will provide training to managers and supervisors on this Agreement. The Union will present the training to current Union Representatives within the bargaining unit. The training will last no longer than one (1) workday, up to ten (10) hours, per the duration of this Agreement. The training will be considered time worked for those Union Representatives who attend the training during their scheduled work shift. Union Representatives who attend the training during their non-work hours will not be compensated. Scheduling of CBA training will not interfere with an employee’s regular duties and the parties will take this into account when agreeing on the date, time, number, and the names of the Union Representatives attending each CBA training session.

  • Local 6070 Bargaining Unit Members who have temporary service in a position that is converted by the University to a benefit eligible position, without interruption, shall have those hours counted toward probation.
