Community Benefit Agreement. Prior to the Closing Date, ArenaCo shall enter into a Community Benefit Agreement ("CBA") with appropriate community organizations to xxxxxx equity and social justice and provide benefit to the communities that will be affected by the Arena, including for example Pioneer Square, and the Chinatown/International District. ArenaCo shall communicate with a variety of community organizations, community members and the City and County to identify the appropriate issues to be addressed by the CBA, which may include economic development, employment opportunities with living wages, job training and apprenticeships, transportation and parking, community amenities, and public safety, as they relate to the Arena and its operations. The CBA shall also provide the structure for meaningful ongoing community dialog and partnership with ArenaCo once the Arena is operational, including annual reporting on fulfillment of mitigating measures.

Community Benefit Agreement. Developer shall propose a community benefit agreement that sets forth provisions through which it will provide specific opportunities, benefits and/or mitigation to designated City communities (the “Community Benefit Agreement”), in coordination with the FAA and City to determine Project funding eligibility. If an FAA Determination or any other regulatory authority prohibits Developer from allocating Project funds or resources for any of the programs identified in the Community Benefit Agreement, then Developer shall work cooperatively with City to identify alternative funding sources for any program for which the FAA has prohibited expenditures. Funds secured from alternative sources under this provision shall not reduce any Developer funding commitments otherwise made under the Community Benefit Agreement, and, should no alternative funding sources be identified, then Developer shall be solely responsible for funding, or causing to be funded, such programs. The Community Benefit Agreement, proposed terms and implementation structure for which are more fully set forth in Exhibit E, is valued at $28.85 million and is expected to include:
Community Benefit Agreement. In 2013, Cleveland Clinic joined eight other private/public-sector business leaders in signing an endorsement of the City of Cleveland's Community Benefits Agreement – a significant investment in Cleveland's local residents and businesses. One way we support this initiative is through our major construction projects. Opportunities cover workforce reporting on hiring contracts, contracting local MBE/FBE/SBE workers, promoting mentor/protégé relationships and supporting apprentice and pre- apprentice programs. Despite the striking down of the Xxxxxx Xxxxx Law in 2019, Cleveland Clinic has maintained its commitment to these programs and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
Community Benefit Agreement. On site Best Management Practices The Port agrees to implement the best management practices identified in Attachment B during marine terminal construction and operation.. These will include, but not limited to, BMPS that address noise, vibration, dust, diesel emissions and light. Community Impact Mitigation Both the City and the Port have a mutual interest in improving recreational and open space access on Hayden Island. The City acknowledges that this interest aligns with the implementation of the Hayden Island Plan (2009). The City and the Port are agreeing to fund community recreational improvements, as described in Section 1 above. The Port agrees to pay $70,000/year for at least 10 years to support security services for East Hayden Island residents, beginning [year]. This could include, but not limited to improved emergency services. The Port agrees to establish a Community Benefits Grant Program, and fund it at $10,000 each year, starting in [year] for X years. The grant fund will be administered by the advisory committee described in section 4 of this agreement. The Port agrees to form and sponsor an advisory committee as described in Section 4 of this agreement. The Port agrees to fund (up to $50,000) a Health Impact Assessment to be carried out by Multnomah County and the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability, prior to the submittal of the first federal permit application for marine terminal development on WHI. The intent of the study is to inform an assessment of community impacts related to marine terminal construction and operations prior to the submittal of the anticipated Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
