Community Park. Pursuant to the DDA, the Project is anticipated to include a 5-8 acre community park. The community park will be in addition to 5.2 acres of park space that is required under the PTMU Overly Zone based on the total number of residential units proposed by SRB. Thus, the Project is anticipated to include 10.2 to 13.2 acres of parks. The parks will be dedicated to the City upon completion. The final size of the community park and the timing for its delivery are currently under negotiation between the Parties.
Community Park. Located in the newly developed Brushy Creek Sports Park, the Ce- dar Park Skate Plaza offers a variety of modern plaza and bowl ter- rain woven seamlessly into the site’s natural surroundings. The final design program was developed over a period of 4 months after an extensive outreach initiative with the public and key stakeholders from the local skate community. The result is a highly integrated skate facility that provides a distinct sense of place for local youth (and the young at heart) while also serving as an inviting destination for all park visitors. Community Park. The long anticipated Xxxxx Xxxx Xxxxx Plaza is now a reality for the growing community of Odessa. Located within the City’s expansive Sherwood Park, the Plaza was designed to not only provide local skateboarders with a safe and compelling environment to call their own but also serve as a place to engage the entire community in the celebration of youth and the life of local skateboarder, Xxxxx Xxxx. Along with an assortment of unique ‘real street’ elements and a one of a kind stand alone bowl unit, the plaza features a com- bination of locally inspired sculptural features, integrated natural ‘green’ islands, shaded viewing areas, and a marquee skateable entry sign recognizing the Plaza’s namesake.
Community Park. The Boerne Skate Plaza features approximately 14,000 sqft of custom skateable terrain split within 3 distinct zones: Plaza, Fun Track, and Bowl Complex. With a visual xxx- xxxx reminiscent of the patch work of a quilt, the plaza area offers a multitude of unique street skating features inspired by the rectilinear forms found within the natural urban en-
Community Park. A park that serves several neighborhoods and has community- organized recreational facilities for people of all ages. Community parks may contain facilities like facilities in a neighborhood park. Community parks may also include structures such as a swimming pool, elaborate ball fields, larger play areas, tennis courts, ice-skating rinks, picnic areas, volleyball courts, shelters, skateboard park, and rest room facilities. These parks generally include parking. The general service area is within a one- to two-mile radius.
Community Park. The Project includes an approximately 8.1-acre Community Park (the “Community Park”), as described in the Specific Plan, which shall be developed in accordance with this Section 3.11.2. The Community Park will be an asset to the entire City and will provide significant benefits to residents outside of the Project. The Parties have agreed to account for Developers effective payment of $398,968 in satisfaction of Developers’ share of outstanding prior Specific Plan processing fees as described in Section
Community Park. The Owners have agreed to develop and donate to the City, via Warranty Deed, approximately twelve point three (12.3) acres of land in the Development to the City for a public community park. The Owners further agree to complete baseline improvements for the park, according to a design and layout approved by the City, including items such as parking lots, perimeter sidewalks, rough grading, and installation of irrigation and utility stubouts to the park, and to transfer the park to the City by the commencement of the development of the one- hundred ninety-ninth (199th) gross acre of the Property (school sites and water assets excluded). This park shall be counted toward the required ten percent (10%) open space for any approved Planned Unit Development (PUD), but shall not serve to satisfy any deficiencies of open space which may exist in a PUD developed prior to the construction of the park.
Community Park. Subject to Director’s approval, no later than six (6) months from the Commencement Date, the Foundation intends to begin conceptual designs for a community park to be located within Fair Park in the vicinity of Xxxxxx X. Xxxxxx Boulevard, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Junior Boulevard, Grand Avenue, and Second Avenue, as shown on Exhibit 6.16, to be open to the public free of charge so as to allow the surrounding neighborhood year- round access to green space and recreational opportunities. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, the community park referenced in this Section 6.16 shall remain open to the public free of charge on a year-round basis. The Foundation acknowledges that construction of this community park is the Park Board’s top priority, and the City acknowledges that the Foundation’s ability to construct this community park will be dependent on the ability to raise the necessary funding.
Community Park. Parcel J is envisioned as a programmed park. Landowner agrees that the recreational and drainage facilities developed within parcel J shall include turf, basins, parking, restrooms, sport fields, play equipment and similar active park improvements. Parcel K, due to topographic constraints, is envisioned for more passive programming, including potential trail and picnic facilities. Landowner agrees to construct improvements in parcels J and K in three phases according to the terms of one or more park construction agreement(s) as described in Section
Community Park. Certain real property fronting on Broad Creek originally being part of the Mall Tract and being exchanged to the Town as shown on the Concept Plan. As of the date hereof the exact size and configuration of the Community Park is unknown. Accordingly, prior to the Closing of the swap of the Exchange Parcel for the Community Park, a survey shall be prepared by the DEVELOPER, at DEVELOPER’S expense, subject to the approval of the Town, which will show the exact metes, bounds and acreage of the Community Park, and which shall be in substantial conformance with the Concept Plan.
