Compensable Time. Section 36.01 Compensable Time: Employees may elect to take overtime or Holiday pay as compensable time. Accumulated unused compensable time can only be used when it does not create overtime. This does not apply to crews with three (3) or less members. The City and Union shall strive to use unused compensable time by not creating overtime. One (1) hour of overtime equals one and one half (1 1/2) hours of compensable time. One hour (1) of holiday time equals one hour (1) of compensable time. Compensable Time. Each employee shall be allowed to accumulate one hundred (100) hours straight time or 66.67 hours compensable time per year. At the end of each calendar year, an employee may be allowed to carry over forty (40) hours, the balance will be paid on the next regular pay day. The Chief of Police will be responsible to monitor the use of compensable time off to limit the amount of overtime created by employee’s use of compensable time. The City Council may also monitor the use of comp time for abuse and address the issue with the Chief of Police.
Compensable Time. With the exception of return to duty testing, time involved for any drug or alcohol testing shall be conducted on duty and compensated in accordance with this Agreement.

  • Compensable Rock CAUTION: No rock for which extra compensation is expected to be received shall be removed except pursuant to and in conformity with a written authorization or order of the Owner. Unless otherwise provided in the Bid Documents, no removal of rock as defined herein shall be included in the Bid. Shale, rottenstone, or stratified rock that can be loosened with a pick or removed by a hydraulic excavator equivalent to a Caterpillar Model 215, a single engine pan (Caterpillar 621 or equivalent) that is pushed by a crawler tractor (Caterpillar D-8K or equivalent), or similar equipment shall not be classified as rock.

  • Pricing for Compensable Rock All compensable rock shall be priced by unit prices upon volume prior to removal and shall be calculated by survey and engineering calculations. No rock shall be priced by truckload, bucket load, or other similar pricing methods. Unit prices shall be determined prior to removal, either in the Contract Documents or by Change Order. Unit prices shall be inclusive of all profit and overhead, except for Time Dependent Overhead Costs. Unit prices shall include the following:

  • Compensable Work-Related Injury or Illness Leave An employee who sustains a work-related illness or injury that is compensable under the state workers’ compensation law may select time-loss compensation exclusively or leave payments in addition to time-loss compensation. Employees who take sick leave, vacation leave or compensatory time during a period in which they receive time-loss compensation will receive full sick leave, vacation leave or compensatory time pay in addition to any time-loss payments. Notwithstanding Section 18.1, of Article 18, Leave Without Pay, the Employer may separate an employee in accordance with Article 31, Reasonable Accommodation and Disability Separation.

  • Damages Should the registration or the effectiveness thereof required by Sections 5.1 and 5.2 hereof be delayed by the Company or the Company otherwise fails to comply with such provisions, the Holder(s) shall, in addition to any other legal or other relief available to the Holder(s), be entitled to obtain specific performance or other equitable (including injunctive) relief against the threatened breach of such provisions or the continuation of any such breach, without the necessity of proving actual damages and without the necessity of posting bond or other security.

  • Illness in the Immediate Family ‌ An employee may use up to one-half of his or her annual sick leave allocation in any calendar year in the event of illness or a spouse, child, parent, or domestic partner. At the City's request the employee will provide satisfactory evidence of the facts justifying such absence.

  • Illness in Immediate Family 1. Up to three (3) days of sick leave may be used by a teacher for each serious illness of a member of that teacher's immediate family or birth of a child of a teacher. Serious illness shall mean an illness where death is probable and may occur, surgery is performed requiring hospitalization, or illness requiring treatment by a physician. Two (2) additional days of sick leave may be used where round trip travel is 600 miles or more.

  • Illness in the Family Where no one at home other than the employee can provide for the needs during illness of an immediate member of her family, an employee shall be entitled after notifying her supervisor, to use a maximum of five (5) accumulated sick leave days per illness to care for the member of the family who is ill.

  • FALSE STATEMENTS; BREACH OF REPRESENTATIONS The Parties acknowledge that this Agreement has been negotiated, and is being executed, in reliance upon the information contained in the Application, and any supplements or amendments thereto, without which the Comptroller would not have approved this Agreement and the District would not have executed this Agreement. By signature to this Agreement, the Applicant:

  • Illness in Family A leave of absence without pay up to one (1) year shall be granted for the purpose of caring for a sick member of the secretary's immediate family. Additional leave may be granted at the discretion of the Board.

  • Our Liability for Failure to Complete Transactions If we do not properly complete a transaction from your Card on time or in the correct amount according to our Agreement with you, we will be liable for your losses or damages. However, there are some exceptions. We will not be liable, for instance:
