Compensation for Teachers. Hired after October 1 Any teacher covered under the scope of this agreement (contracted after October 1 of that school year) to work less than 184 full days will: 1. be paid a prorated salary at the appropriate placement on the salary schedule. 2. contribute a prorated percentage of the monthly premium for health insurance computed after the full-time employee contribution and receive a prorated amount of the Section 125. 3. be provided prorated leave provisions as noted in Article XV with one day of leave equal to the employee’s defined work day. 4. be required to work all scheduled workdays, in-service days and parent teacher conferences after hire date. 5. the contract of teachers working less than full time will automatically expire at the end of the contract year, with no notice of non-renewal. However, by June 1 a written notice of job status will be issued. The most current date of hire will be used for placement on the seniority list.
Compensation for Teachers beyond the number of days in their contract will be at the per diem rate based on their current salary.
Compensation for Teachers. Compensation for a class overload shall be calculated at $6,000 per class period per school year. Fractional amounts will be calculated per above rate. Teachers whose job descriptions require them to commute between the buildings within the district will be compensated at the prevailing IRS rate.
Compensation for Teachers attending professional development training or curriculum meetings before or after an instructional day shall be paid at the rate of $20.00 per hour. Compensation for meetings or professional development attended on non-contract days shall be paid at the rate of $50.00 for a half-day and $100.00 for a full day.

  • Compensation for Overtime Assigned overtime is designated as those hours over the regular hours of work which are requested of the employee by management. Assigned overtime worked shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 1/2).

  • Developer Compensation for Emergency Services If, during an Emergency State, the Developer provides services at the request or direction of the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer will be compensated for such services in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.

  • COMPENSATION OF ULTIMUS The Trust, on behalf of each Fund, shall pay for the services to be provided by Ultimus under this Agreement in accordance with, and in the manner set forth in, Schedule B attached hereto, as such Schedule may be amended from time to time. If this Agreement becomes effective subsequent to the first day of a month or terminates before the last day of a month, Ultimus’ compensation for that part of the month in which the Agreement is in effect shall be prorated in a manner consistent with the calculation of the fees as set forth above. Employees teaching Adult Education academic programs including: High School Completion Program, Pathfinder High School Completion Program, Academic Business Education Program, General Equivalency Diploma Program, Adult Basic Education Program, Adult English as a Second Language Program, and Adult Special Education Program, in the Continuing Education Division.

  • Compensation for Loss of Employee Tools The Employer will replace all Employee tools lost or stolen in accordance with the Award.

  • HOLIDAY COMPENSATION FOR TIME WORKED Employees required by their respective appointing officers to work on any of the above specified or substitute holidays, excepting Fridays observed as holidays in lieu of holidays falling on Saturday, shall be paid extra compensation of one additional day's pay at time- and-one-half the usual rate in the amount of 12 hours pay for 8 hours worked or a proportionate amount for less than 8 hours worked provided, however, that at the employee's request and with the approval of the appointing officer, an employee may be granted compensatory time off in lieu of paid overtime as provided for elsewhere in this contract. 127. Executive, administrative and professional employees designated in the Annual Salary Ordinance with the "Z" symbol shall not receive extra compensation for holiday work but may be granted time off equivalent to the time worked at the rate of-one-and-one-half times for work on the holiday.

  • Compensation for Consulting Services For each quarter (i.e., three-month period) that Executive provides consulting services to MediciNova pursuant to the option of MediciNova contained in Section 9 above, MediciNova shall pay Executive a sum equal to fifteen percent (15%) of Executive’s annual Base Compensation which shall be applicable at the time of Executive’s termination of employment with MediciNova (prorated for any period of less than a quarter). The parties expressly agree that when Executive is performing consulting services for MediciNova, Executive is acting as an independent contractor. Therefore, Executive shall be solely liable for Social Security and income taxes that result from Executive’s compensation as a consultant. In addition, Executive shall not be entitled to any other benefits including, without limitation, such group medical, life and disability insurance and other benefits as may be provided to employees and/or executives of MediciNova.

  • Compensation/Benefit Programs During the Term of Employment, the Executive shall be entitled to participate in all medical, dental, hospitalization, accidental death and dismemberment, disability, travel and life insurance plans, and any and all other plans as are presently and hereinafter offered by the Company to its executive personnel, including savings, pension, profit-sharing and deferred compensation plans, subject to the general eligibility and participation provisions set forth in such plans.
