Operations requiring a competent person per OSHA requirements include, but are not limited to, trenching and excavation, fall protection, scaffolds, confined space entry, and rigging.

Competent Person Training. Effective upon ratification of the 2020-2023 collective bargaining agreement, Working Supervisors in the Department of Public Works Street Maintenance, Sewer or Cemetery Divisions who receive and maintain the Excavation and Trenching Certification will receive an annual stipend of $150. This stipend is only available to those who have also completed the 30-hour OSHA training as a prerequisite.
Competent Person Training each person designated as a competent person shall have related experience and attend training on that particular operation or be designated in writing as such by authorized representative of subcontractor management. The competent person(s) name must be included in the AHAs. • Employee Orientation Safety Training – subcontract employees must attend safety orientation training. This training will cover applicable safety policies, safety manuals, plans, Activity Hazard Analysis, first aid provisions, accident reporting procedures, daily pre-task safety meeting participation, personal protective equipment, and enforcement procedures. • Emergency Procedures – must cover notification procedures, evacuation routes, mustering points, and accountability. • Daily Pre-Task Safety Meetings – must be conducted daily prior to the start of work with all Subcontractors’ onsite personnel. Documentation detailing the subject discussed and signatures of all participants must be kept for each meeting. • Hazard Communication Standard – must cover all aspects of the GHS standard including SDSs, chemicals onsite, labeling and the written program.

  • Covered Persons Training Within 90 days after the Effective Date, Progenity shall develop a written plan (Training Plan) that outlines the steps Progenity will take to ensure that all Covered Persons receive at least annual training regarding Progenity’s CIA requirements and Compliance Program and the applicable Federal health care program requirements, including the requirements of the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Xxxxx Law; and that all Arrangements Covered Persons receive at least annual training regarding: (i) Arrangements that potentially implicate the Anti-Kickback Statute or the Xxxxx Law, as well as the regulations and other guidance documents related to these statutes; (ii) Progenity’s policies, procedures, and other requirements relating to Arrangements and Focus Arrangements, including but not limited to the Focus Arrangements Tracking System, the internal review and approval process, and the tracking of remuneration to and from sources of health care business or referrals required by Section III.D of the CIA; (iii) the personal obligation of each individual involved in the development, approval, management, or review of Progenity’s Arrangements to know the applicable legal requirements and the Progenity’s policies and procedures; (iv) the legal sanctions under the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Xxxxx Law; and (v) examples of violations of the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Xxxxx Law. The Training Plan shall include information regarding the following: training topics, identification of Covered Persons and Arrangements Covered Persons required to attend each training session, length of the training sessions(s), schedule for training, and format of the training. Progenity shall furnish training to its Covered Persons and Arrangements Covered Persons pursuant to the Training Plan during each Reporting Period.

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.

  • Investigatory Interview When the employee under investigation is to be interviewed concerning the alleged conduct which could result in discharge or other discipline, the employee and his or her representative shall be notified in writing, at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the interview. In the event of an emergency, such reasonable notice as the circumstances permit shall be given. The notice shall state that an official investigation is being conducted and shall state the subject matter of the investigatory interview. a. Prior to being interviewed pursuant to this section, the employee shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity and facilities to contact and consult privately with his or her union representative or union attorney. b. Any interview of an employee under this section shall be conducted at a reasonable time, at a suitable location and, when practicable, on the department’s premises when the employee is on duty. The union representative or union attorney may participate in the interview. c. The interview shall be limited to questions that are directly, narrowly, and specifically related to the employee’s job performance as it relates to the allegation(s) or complaints. The employee shall not be subjected to any offensive language nor be threatened with transfer, dismissal or other disciplinary action. Confidentiality of the interview shall be maintained.

  • Medical Director The Contractor shall employ the services of a Medical Director who is a licensed Indiana Health Care Provider (IHCP) provider board certified in family medicine or internal medicine. If the Medical Director is not board certified in family medicine, they shall be supported by a clinical team with experience in pediatrics, behavioral health, adult medicine and obstetrics/gynecology. The Medical Director shall be dedicated full-time to the Contractor’s Indiana Medicaid product lines. The Medical Director shall oversee the development and implementation of the Contractor’s disease management, case management and care management programs; oversee the development of the Contractor’s clinical practice guidelines; review any potential quality of care problems; oversee the Contractor’s clinical management program and programs that address special needs populations; oversee health screenings; serve as the Contractor’s medical professional interface with the Contractor’s primary medical providers (PMPs) and specialty providers; and direct the Quality Management and Utilization Management programs, including, but not limited to, monitoring, corrective actions and other quality management, utilization management or program integrity activities. The Medical Director, in close coordination with other key staff, is responsible for ensuring that the medical management and quality management components of the Contractor’s operations are in compliance with the terms of the Contract. The Medical Director shall work closely with the Pharmacy Director to ensure compliance with pharmacy-related responsibilities set forth in Section 3.4. The Medical Director shall attend all OMPP quality meetings, including the Quality Strategy Committee meetings. If the Medical Director is unable to attend an OMPP quality meeting, the Medical Director shall designate a representative to take his or her place. Notwithstanding the Medical Director ‘s sending of a representative, the Medical Director shall be responsible for knowing and taking appropriate action on all agenda and action items from all OMPP quality meetings.

  • Professional Development and Training The Company shall pay for or reimburse the Executive for any reasonable professional development or training.

  • Classroom Management The certificated classroom teacher demonstrates in his/her performance a competent level of knowledge and skill in organizing the physical and human elements in the educational setting.
