Conceptual Alternatives Demand Modeling. The Engineer shall prepare and submit for approval to the State a coded network for use in the projection of multimodal volumes for the conceptual (6 total) alternatives for the opening design year (2025), and the ultimate design year (2040). The Engineer shall coordinate with the State and the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) to utilize the regional travel demand model in order to forecast demand for the conceptual alternatives during the projected years. The Conceptual Alternatives will coded by the Engineer for each of the projected years. It is anticipated that H-GAC staff will in turn run/process the regional model for each of the 6 conceptual alternatives. A technical memorandum shall be prepared tabulating the projected conceptual alternative volumes with graphics and line diagrams. The Engineer shall coordinate with the State and the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) to utilize the regional travel demand model in order to gather demand for the conceptual alternatives during the projected years. Model runs shall be conducted that incorporate all planned network improvements expected in the study corridor. These scenarios shall be broken out by the specific alternative and correspond to the projection year. Demand modeling efforts shall include the analysis of six (6) to ten (10) alternatives that satisfy the Need and Purpose of the PEL Study. As described under existing and no-build conditions, the calibrated VISUM model shall be used to estimate traffic demand on a range of alternatives, while maintaining regional travel pattern assumptions throughout the process to conduct accurate / refined analysis using VISUM. The Engineer shall utilize the no build model developed under PHASE I to examine these alternatives. These scenarios shall be broken out by the specific alternative and correspond to the projection year. Demand modeling shall be built from efforts completed in PHASE I. A technical memorandum shall be prepared tabulating the projected conceptual alternative volumes with graphics and line diagrams. The Engineer shall provide the following deliverables:

  • Alternative Work Schedule An alternate forty (40) hour work schedule (other than five (5) uniform and consecutive eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period), or for hospital personnel an eighty (80) hour workweek in a fourteen (14) day period and other mutually agreed upon schedules that comply with applicable federal and state law. Employee work schedules normally include two (2) consecutive days off.

  • Construction Drawings After approving the Additional Programming Information, Landlord shall cause the Architect and the Engineers to prepare and deliver to Tenant Construction Drawings that conform to the approved Space Plan and the approved Additional Programming Information. Such preparation and delivery shall occur within 15 business days after the later of Landlord’s approval of the Additional Programming Information or the mutual execution and delivery of this Agreement. Tenant shall approve or disapprove the Construction Drawings by notice to Landlord. If Tenant disapproves the Construction Drawings, Tenant’s notice of disapproval shall specify any revisions Tenant desires in the Construction Drawings. After receiving such notice of disapproval, Landlord shall cause the Architect and/or the Engineers to revise the Construction Drawings, taking into account the reasons for Tenant’s disapproval (provided, however, that Landlord shall not be required to cause the Architect or the Engineers to make any revision to the Construction Drawings that is inconsistent with the Landlord Requirements or that Landlord otherwise reasonably disapproves), and resubmit the Construction Drawings to Tenant for its approval. Such revision and resubmission shall occur within five (5) business days after the later of Landlord’s receipt of Tenant’s notice of disapproval or the mutual execution and delivery of this Agreement if such revision is not material, and within such longer period of time as may be reasonably necessary (but not more than 15 business days after the later of such receipt or such mutual execution and delivery) if such revision is material. Such procedure shall be repeated as necessary until Tenant has approved the Construction Drawings. The Construction Drawings approved by Landlord and Tenant are referred to in this Work Letter as the “Approved Construction Drawings”.
