Continuing Professional Development Leave. 60.1. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) means training that an Employee is required to undertake in order to maintain their registration or currency of their overarching qualification (i.e. Nurses, Health Professional, and Aboriginal Health Practitioners).
Continuing Professional Development Leave a) Full time and part time employees may, with approval from the employer, access up to 5 days’ paid Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Leave in a calendar year. CPD Leave may be taken, with approval, for professional development activities including research, attendance at seminars or conferences.
