Continuous Operation of Site Sample Clauses

Continuous Operation of Site. It is possible the Tennyson site will be required to operate on a continuous basis seven (7) days per week. This includes the Mill proper, Packing Department, Warehousing and support areas. Any rosters required to staff these operations will be implemented in consultation with the employees affected. Any such rosters will include the working of public holidays. Payment for any such public holiday worked will be in accordance with the public holiday provisions of the relevant PCSA. If any roster requires a public holiday to be worked, volunteers will first be sought from the affected Department to work the rostered public holiday. If no employee volunteers, suitably qualified employees from other Departments will be asked, however, the company reserves its right to roster employees to work public holidays as business needs dictate. Any shiftwork introduced into areas of the plant which involve heavy manual handling will take into consideration the Occupational Health and Safety issues associated with such work. All parties to this Agreement are committed to the continuous operation of the site, if required. This includes acceptance and implementation of roster and shift changes to enable continuous operation. If any additional sections of the site are required to work shift work, the remuneration levels (loaded rate) for each individual employee classification level will be determined using the same formula as used for the existing Milling Operatives (see Section E).
